I understand it might be difficult coming up with new content especially due to covid/places shut so can't get usual primark/b&m type haul videos and vlogs on holiday but instead of asking pretty much every week on insta what videos people want to see, why wouldn't she just go through her previous content to see what did well? I loved Gemmas cleaning style videos as it helped motivate me - some of them reached over 550/580k views which is more than her subs count so obviously a hit.
She's got 370k subscribers - her past 3 videos seem to have done quite poorly in terms of views because people aren't interested in bloody gift guides for your partners valentines, everything £5 haul which was again an AD then an assumptions video where it seems the majority of stuff she said was just taking stuff from here and making it into questions for herself

I loved all her videos until Jamie started to get in them more. Then the character we’ve been watching for a few years slowly disappears. I don’t wish negativity on her and I’ll never slag her off for her looks because I think she’s gorgeous. I’d just wish she would stop trying to morph into someone else

I get bad vibes from him, I feel in a way sorry for her as people have pointed out she doesn't like being alone or single. I didn't watch her when Charlie was around, I found her channel with Christmas/cleaning content when she stayed in the cottage and binge watched her because I thought she was so lovely and her content was amazing at the time. Now I feel she's a different person in her videos and I cant help but put it down to Jamie. He needs to present or his name mentioned in every single video, it's so offputting. I watched Gemmas channel for her, loved when Sophie was in it and of course tilly! But if I've got one of her videos on and Jamie appears I turn it straight off/if he's in the thumbnail/couples video I won't bother watching because I just don't vibe from him at all
1000% agree. I said last night about how it must be difficult for influencers and youtubers to come up with content during these times but like you say, liven it up!! My fave type of videos are beauty/cleaning/organising so I'd happily continue watching if she changed it up. She's far far overused "cosy" now, if you check back on her videos she's mentioned it from the beginning of August and it's now February and I guarantee on Sundays video it'll be more "cosy" content
