I think she’s doing a whole new thing for Christmas to draw people back in. For someone who claims to be an “Autumn” and comes alive in the “ber-month” her YouTube content is a total flop. No uploads for the whole of August (probably because she hid away in her beige house doing sweet duck all) and then she’s uploaded TWICE in September and TWICE in October. How she can sustain the followers and viewers I have no clue. I genuinely loved Gemma during the old YouTube days, her cottage era and even when she lived at the house that was “broken into” … she has lost her way majorly and feels like there’s nothing there. Even the content of her videos are bland, boring, robotic and dare I say it forced? I just don’t understand her or her personality and how she’s become this boring stepford wife wannabe.
 
So now “Elf on the shelf” is the best content she can come up with and she’s soo excited about it. She’s going to post every morning about it. Is she for real. She’s about 5 years too late and also WHO CARESSssss Gemma! 🙄 get a life. This is something cute you can do with your kids in private without trying to turn it into a fake personality trait not something you’re doing for you supposedly creative job. This is “her time of year” and she can only bring this to the table . Yawnnnnn

So she gets compliments like “you’re such an amazing mum for giving your boys these special memories” blah blah blah, it’s all for content not anything to do with her actual children. None of the ideas will be original anyway, just copying others as per.

Like poor little Noah is going to have a clue what's going on. She will do it every morning expecting a reaction and he'll be stood there with his blank expression.

I really think she just googles things people do with their kids or pintrests it, does it herself for cOnTeNt like you say trying to look like such a great earth mama. But then her kids don’t behave like other star content kids do online and she feels totally deflated and doesn’t feel the way the pictures look and then moves onto the next commercial thing to do with them. The way she was doing the pizza with N it seemed painfully forced. She’s got all the gear, the step ladder thing for him, put him in autumnal colours but unfortunately it’s just not the reality she was hoping for

She fundamentally doesn’t understand that in order for children to engage and participate they need practice and routine. Any new thing that’s put in front of them they will be absorbing rather than doing. If she made pizzas with N regularly or had him playing with a few kitchen bits whilst she’s in there he may show curiosity and perhaps want to be involved. Just plonking him there in a cute outfit without any context is alien to him and it would be to any other human without any life experience.

It’s so sad she pictures it being moments that she’s seen other momfluencers film. That’s not reality like you said! She needs to get a grip and parent not just replicate what she sees online.
 
Something she said in this week’s upload really angered me. When she said about doing a task there and then if it takes you under 5 minutes is completely out of touch. Maybe if you have nothing better to do all day but the average person has something called a job. I’m pretty sure my boss wouldn’t be too pleased if I said sorry I’m late I was re-arranging my skincare drawers. Then the comment about Jamie driving around for an hour to get the kids asleep. I don’t know what planet Gemma lives on but fuel is pretty expensive to be driving around unnecessarily. Just two little examples of how Gemma has lost touch with normal everyday life. I can’t watch anymore.
 
Sorry, but what sane person goes to a pumpkin patch in UGGS 😂😂 Clearly only for the aesthetics...

She said in a vlog I think that it was a bone of contention with Jamie that she was wearing those. Clearly he’s of sound mind and knew they were a completely stupid choice for a muddy farm in October. But then doesn’t it just show how ‘easy come, easy go’ all of her material sh!te is? She doesn’t need to care if she wrecks them as she’ll get another pair free or order a new pair the next day if she needs to. Never mind how out of touch/terrible for the planet that behaviour is, hey. Spoilt little princess vibes

I know right in our house after bonfire night there's my birthday then early December start to get Christmassy always a rough time of year for us nearly every year someone dies in December it's an anxious month for us each year but Gem doesn't think some viewers may struggle with the festive season for bad times it's not all happy days in December

I would've liked to have seen these two cope in my parents shoes dad always worked 6am-6pm and mum worked 8am-4pm then 10pm-2am I always say to my mum I don't know how she did it she also delivered leaflets at weekends too beyond lucky to have money and time this pair yet see it as nothing special

She’s become like a robot when they’re stuck saying the same phrase over and over and it’s lost all meaning, they’re just malfunctioning and have become totally unhinged 😂 .

The way she films herself looking out the windows she looks like she’s in prison. It’s so creepy.

Also pissed me off about the brand new uggs at the pumpkin patch too. Like £110 new shoes are just nothing to her. Let’s just trash them. She needs a serious wake up call. She’s one of those people that actually need to see what living with very little money would be like and it would probably benefit her hugely. She might even discover happiness outside of material items and being grateful for things.

The only positive is it seems they can’t be doing THAT well financially by her own standards as she still doesn’t have her 6 bed mansion dream house and still has to slum it in the 4 bed 400k new build couldn’t-have-kids-in-this-house 🙄 and we all know it must be killing her having 2 kids in there now 😂
 
I stopped watching her after the first pregnancy announcement - childfree by choice here - but still keep an eye on the thread :ROFLMAO: . The thing that I find weird is the insistence that she likes things "cosy" but the complete lack of anything cosy in that clinical house with zero warmth in it. There's no texture, no contrast between tones of light and dark beige / neutral, those hideous white, net/linen curtains are translucent and don't shut out any of the dark outside. It couldn't be further away from cosy if she tried.
