I was wondering how people can effort all this expensive stuff to give to people for free,please don't tell me it was gifted to her and that's y she's doing give away

Because obviously she can afford it. Youtubers like her easily earn at least or more than £100,000 a year. It’s not like she’s on minimum wage she’s likely earning a years minimum wage salary in a month. She’s getting money from making YouTube videos from Adsense , she’s gets money from sponsorship and as you should know she’s got some long term ones like foxy locks , foreo , hello fresh etc the ones we see on repeat , she’s also got her own business and maybe a few other sources of income.

Even if it was gifted to her it’s better for her to give it away than keep something she doesn’t want.

I think people seem to forget that not everyone is poor and struggling some people do actually have money and alot of it. My boyfriend comes from a wealthy family his grandparents live in a massive house with gates in a wealthy area. They drive a Bentley and own a few other cars. They are making well over £10,000 a month. Some people just live very comfortable.

I read earlier about people complaining that’s she’s got bad taste for going on a little trip before Christmas because the place is “expensive” it’s not even that expensive. She’s probably stayed at a place that’s like £2,000 could be more I think the most expensive I saw when I looked briefly it was 5k which is a lot but remember the cost is shared out between people. Her and Jamie probably split the cost. They likely booked it months in advance.

I’m on minimum wage and I could easily afford a trip to where they went I have savings because I’m good with my money. We’re not all struggling to afford food. Yeah it’s sad if you are but we’re not all in the same boat so we can’t exactly be too harsh on people if they decide to go on a little family trip before Christmas. I really don’t understand the comments saying it’s bad taste it’s really not. You’re giving her the money by watching her content is this is how she chooses to spend it.

Her recent vlogmas video was sponsored so she probably made her money back for that trip anyway … 🙂

For some one who has the amount of money she has I do like that she still lives within her means. She still shops at cheap places and is still relatable to most of her viewers … for now

I’m pretty sure everything she has spent is also a tax write off so actually benefits her to do this. Everything she buys and shows on her YouTube or instagram can be used for her advantage when it comes to your tax. All her food shops, hauls can be written against her business and not for her directly to pay for.
GOM profits will also be paid as a dividend and not as a salary to herself, as another tax advantage. She will have very good accountants that will sort all this out and suggest ways to save even more on tax
 
don't keep up w her too often but just watched her gift guide / giveaway - what's up with her top lip?? overinflated as always but on the right near the corner of her mouth the inside of her lip kept flipping down. a bit distracting but also looked painful, this is the best screeshot i could get

Wow my life is her opposite completely used to watch her for a fun escape I'm chronically ill and earn £6000 a year trust me I wish I could afford to live comfortably wouldn't we all I can barely afford the bills and end up in and out of hospital I'm not even thirty and some days feel like giving up she could live a life of luxury she doesn't realise how lucky she is to have money and do what she likes all day every day mainly though why not make herself happy money can't buy that though I guess

Maybe it was the lip product she used it was sticking to her teeth or maybe her lips have gone saggy 🤣

Her top lip is so big, shapeless & ugly. She wanted to get them dissolved years ago because people kept commenting on them but she was allergic to the dissolvent.

I saw someone on instagram do something like don't get offended id be happy to give vouchers, gifts, money, buy peoples food for christmas or clean peoples homes if families are struggling this year :cry:

I don't know what's up with Gemma but something is definitely wrong. I used to watch her back in the Sophie days, and I couldn't bring myself to watch her newish videos as they are just soooo boring. I keep up pm this thread regularly, but I put one of her recent videos on yday, and omg, what's happened???
She's completely dull, devoid of any life and she just looks and sounds totally fed up and just going through the motions. She became a mum around a year after I did, so I understand how having a baby can be a shock....but she seems to be really struggling. She seems to be really off with Noah. She just seemed to complain about everything he was doing. She was moaning he wanted her camera she was vloggiing on, moaning about how he was playing up in the restaurant, moaning about him climbing in their cabin- she seemed to resent him almost?!I'm all for showing the reality of having kids but she seemed abit controlling with it. I hate saying that and commenting on someone being a parent but surely she must have some sort of depression because she seems so miserable!!! Such a change from how she was. I actually really feel for her because it can't be nice feeling like that. I just don't know what's caused it. She would be better putting the social media down and getting a real job and grounding herself abit because this social media life isn't helping matters at all for her!
I also find it really weird how she pushes all these traditions on Noah, she doesn't let them happen organically at all, it's all planned and organised but the little dude doesn't even know what day of the week it is let alone about Christmas!! She needs to just enjoy Noah for what he is at this present moment I think. Crikey Gemma, what has happened to you? I really hope she gets some sort of help.
 
I don’t like how she’s trying to force all the “traditions” on him. Fair enough when he’s a bit older and he has a better understanding of everything then he can work out what he likes for himself. It’s so overwhelming see all theses things she’s doing / buying for him for Easter & Christmas and he’s none the wiser …

Also I don’t want to sound rude in anyway but is it just me or is Noah a little odd to you ? He often seems really vacant. He doesn’t really seem to interact or respond much. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him cry.

I’m also new to Gemma’s videos but I’ve watched from their moving vlogs to the present day. Might have missed a few but I’ve seen most of them.
 
I watched her for years loads of her old video's have been deleted especially with Sophie she used to do fun drive with me videos back in the day I'm talking like 2018 and earlier goal video's each year loads more hauls snack and chat video's and as soon as Sophie vanished and Jamie became a main they suddenly vanished and this ghost Gemma appeared and I agree Noah just seems to be in the way for her I really think she thought having a baby would be easy and get Jamie to stay or something as he comes across manipulative from how people have spoken on here but you don't change personality this much from growing up think we all agree on that...
 
I don’t have kids so no idea really but is his lack of interest in things just that he’s not interacted with much as in engaging with him? Gemma mentioned he’s so tired when he gets in from nursery that they eat quickly and put him to bed before he freaks out. So with actually going to nursery a lot then straight to bed he’s not getting much interaction outside of it. He’s also grabbing for the camera/her phone because it’s always been shoved in his face and she’s probably always on it. I have a friend who was the same, when her little boy was younger he was obsessed with her phone and the tv remote because literally all she did was use her phone and watch tv with him sat there. She’d always say oh he constantly wants tech he’s so smart… no it’s because he actually wants your attention 🥴

I’m not sure who her target audience is anymore. Yeah as was mentioned before not everyone is struggling but I can’t see many wealthy people watching Gemma and being inspired either. It doesn’t take loads of money to live a full life. She’s lucky she has the money on top but she doesn’t seem happy with any of it. Really think she will move house next year to up her content

That's what I'm wondering too.
There is a demographic and a niche for everybody, so if a person really wanted to they would be able to find that demographic and make good money still from social media.
The trouble with Gemma is she has no clue who she is really, has no personality, no other inspiriational thing except her 🌟positive thinking 🌟 and that 🌟manifestation 🌟 nonsense. Plus she seems to have become lazy as heck.

She's not overly wealthy, so the people who love luxury aren't watching. She's not an actual mommy/family vlogger, plus there are tons of those who are more interesting to watch. She's not creative, has no hobbies to speak of, and everything is so staged and bland. So I'm not sure who her audience is actually? People her age and with young children/ babies can NOT relate at all to her life, and the rest of us would rather watch paint dry at this point....
 
Just catching up on my 'vlogs in the background whilst cleaning the house' and GLM is the epitome of lazy. She uses her giveaway items as a gift guide video. She hasn't even bothered to come up with a structured gift guide (bit like Freya F). Also, all of her giveaway gifts are from brands that she's done a collab with in the past....I do not believe she would spend thousands of pounds of her own money for this giveaway.
