How is someone... pretentiously shy? XD
I like her no nonsense and down to earth approach to vlogging, and that's its more realistic than the majority of vids out there.
We'll see if it stays that way though, and if I will be able to stomach the sustainable vibe she has now.

I mean, she puts herself across as sort of nervous with that awkward laugh she does..... And yes, that almost gypsy wilderness sustainability stuff she waffles on about isn't actually sustainable at all though is it?? It's just marketed nonsense and if she really believes in being as sustainable and economical as possible then she needs to live off grid and document that instead 😂 She can use pubs for charging up electrical devices and upload her videos on their wifi

She will most likely see her mum as she has Noah and probably her family but don’t think she has any friends anymore, but who knows. Jamie is a walking red flag for me too but I also think Gemma isn’t all sweetness and light. She pretends her viewers are all best friends but only ever puts out videos if there’s ads in them. Plus her weird, culty replies to comments recently it’s all very manipulative . All she cares about is money so it’s hard to know what’s her choice, if other people like old friends simply don’t want to be around her because she’s become so hard to relate to/they don’t like Jamie or if Jamie does control her in that way

We havent seen anyone around her that wasn't Jaimie since forever. There was that random brunch/lunch thing with "a friend" in one oft vlogs last year when we saw this person's hands, and that's it. She doesn't seem to have any friends left. Also at the first photo shoot for GOM she called the pizza night with the models and staff "pizza with friends" so yeah...

The way things are going and the things being discussed. Like all the gender nonsense etc.. if I was having kids right now I'd be scared. My 10 year old son came home yesterday and told me and his dad that a girl in his class is attracted to ALL genders. He told her there is only 2 and she was arguing with him! Bloody ridiculous. Kids shouldn't be thinking about that kind of stuff anyway! Not blaming the school for that one coz it's obviously social media but some schools are teaching stuff like that. I have no problem with people being gay but I don't like how it's being discussed in schools. Just let the kids be kids. Sorry to derail the thread😂

Do you also have issues with hetro relationships being discussed in schools? Education should include everyone. Don’t be a bigot.

Kids are there to learn life and social skills too. Sexual education is part of that and can help keep children safe as well as keep them informed and comfortable.

I won’t derail the thread further but I think it’s important you maybe consider being more open minded.

Never said that sexual education shouldn't be taught at school. There's a way to discuss things without it being overtly sexual or shoved in kids faces. You only have to go on YouTube to see some teachers being exposed to what they are actually teaching and asking young children. Wanting to keep children innocent is not being closed minded or bigoted! Very strong word to call someone who hasn't said anything even close to that. But yeah back to beige lol.
I think Gemma would like the idea of homeschooling for how she lives an excluded life but when it comes down to it, would she actually have the patience to do so? Not with having to film a video once a week😂

My parents never spoke to me about this and still haven’t. If I’d have known earlier than 11/12 in school it wouldn’t saved me a lot of therapy and harm. Children exist in world created by adults and should be introduced to this, targeted at the appropriate level for each developmental stage.

Believe me my lack of knowledge did not keep me innocent. Please don’t conflate innocence with ignorance.
