Hideous. It makes me laugh that she considers herself a fashionista. She is so unbelievably frumpy.
It’s the wee step forward that gets me, she looks like a big waddling penguin

What the hell are her outfit choices? I get sparkle=Christmas and she isn't going to suit tight clothing but she dresses like my mum for her Christmas Dinner at the Golf club

If you’re starting to call a well respected 70 year old woman ‘my girl’ you need to go have a lay down & find friends your own age. Second hand embarrassment.
She's actually 84 which makes it worse

I doubt Mary thinks Gemma is her friend. My parents actually know Mary, she is a lovely lady, certainly not a girl as Gemma has stated!

I’d say with the amount of people in the choir, they would have survived so Gemma could recover from her surgery! She hasn’t stopped this week, having fun! It’s not like she is saving the World or having to carry on with work like many women in the World have to do after surgery as they don’t get paid sick leave.

If it was an extensive endo surgery she wouldn’t be out and about. It must have been a minor investigation or something similar. I sing so I know the energy needed to perform in a show like that, if she had a surgery that required time to recover there is no way she could stand for 3 hours to sing with a choir. In my opinion she is millking the surgery for content.

I had major eye surgery and let me tell you, that was no joke, I was stuck in bed for a month and only just started driving again (surgery was in June)
Was horrendous, so yeah, I think she’s being dramatic.
I was having to take 15 eyes drops in 1 day for a month.

I hope you are feeling much better now. I just don’t buy her story of being unwell but going to all these events. She would have been better saying nothing about having ‘surgery’.

I couldn’t wash my hair for 3 weeks and was using dry shampoo, I was begging the surgeon to sign me off to have a shower, was so depressing.
I was in so much pain I was pulling hair literally out and wanted to throw myself down the stairs
can laugh about it now, but Christ, it was horrendous.Some eye drops tasted like sour milk and eggs
Everyone telling me to sleep, but the pain kept me awake, I was awake for 7 days with 0 sleep
and this was all in that lovely heatwave too so I think that made it worse.Definitely would be getting surgery this time of year and not summer
She has literally no idea what that’s like, I wished I was able to do all what she done.
