Coming from a nursery where a high proportion of its clients were teachers, not always the case. I totally understand the childcare element when working, been there myself.

We had some teachers off for the 6 weeks who wouldn't even keep their kids off for a week. Because the holidays were for them and they were entitled to it. What about the poor bairn crying out for a week at home with their Mam?
 
I sent my son to pre school (open 51 weeks a year but the room he was in was called pre school) when I had my youngest and I was home. It was nice for me to have one on one time with the baby, nice for my eldest to have some time to run around and play with friends, I had to pay whether he was there or not (£75 a day!) and he struggled to settle in so taking him out and only going in randomly would have upset him.

Then covid happened and we were all home together for 8 gazzilion days anyway 🙃

Her mum does seem there a lot. My heart hurts for anyone with newborns who don’t have their mums around if they saw that post ‘Mum and Mat leave’ or words to that effect she said. Tone death to her privilege
 
So much to unpick from that brag/rant she's had

Mum's don't always feel tit because other people are judging them.. Mum's feel tit because some of us don't have family and friends to help and their partners are wankers, so educate yourself!
You're judged because you post everything to the world and his wife!
You've now made anyone without that back up feel tit by telling everyone how lucky you are!

Has she really gone to the GP for piles? bleeping hell.. normal people can't get an appointment for serious tit! Surely popping into the chemist to dpeak to the pharmacist would have done.
Anusol is fine if you're breastfeeding, even a bloody Google will tell you that!
My bum grapes were unbelievable and it worked just fine!
Never mind the fact she got her private sodding midwife on speed dial 🙄

Absolutely. I have twins, when they were newborns I had zero family support and a husband who had to go back to work after two weeks who used to have to leave at 6am everyday. Fortunately I was fine but I always felt so envious of others I met who had people to help and support them and give them a break. It's amazing how super smug many people are about such things and so tone deaf to how difficult it might be for others.
 
I feel like her set up pap shots and story weren’t getting enough clicks/attention so she did the weird rant thing and bizarre made up story about piles, because she’s so relatable you know! For someone so health conscious why wouldn’t she check with the doc about the prescription or her private nurses rather than googling it while walking along the street.

What maternity leave Gem ?
Your newborn is only three weeks old and your never off socials or policing and mithering about your dm's or promoting your new reality series.
Seriously just focus on the baby, he should be your priority not dicking about on stories moaning about paps, take three months off bond with your baby, shut the world out .
 
The weird rant was definitely to direct people to the article. All of what she said felt so forced and fake.

I’m going through a situation atm with a newborn and absolutely 0 family support, I live abroad, i try not to let posts like Gemmas get the better of me but yeah I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t bother me in some form. But that’s life you have to deal with the cards you get given 🤷🏻‍♀️
