I'm not British but is her accent really weird for someone from Yorkshire? If so, what makes it weird?

It is quite subtle I suppose, especially for someone who’s not British. The U.K. has so many regional accents, people can sound different from one town to the next.
She does still have a recognisable Yorkshire accent. If you compare it to how she used to speak when she first started YouTube though, everything flowed more naturally.
As time went on, she attempted to sound more professional, to tone down her accent, to sound like more of a ‘presenter’, but she has no performing talent or skills, very limited vocabulary, so it just sounds exaggerated and fake.

I just feel like I’ve gone down a Gobby rabbit-hole, I’m curious… terrified but curious…
Her and her current gf hosted some terrible podcasts for a while, and on one of them they discussed once having sex SO mind blowing that the orgasm caused vomiting, crying etc.

If anyone can find the thread where this came out we should deffo get the Wiki updated!!

I think I hate how she calls it 'America' because it comes across so childish, like that's what I called the USA as a child. Most adults know that America is a continent and say the USA, the US or the states.
Eh? It’s just convention to refer to North America as “America”. Even North Americans do it.

The AmericaS on the other hand, means something different

I’m all for slagging Gabbie but calling the US “America” is hardly unusual or “childish” 😅

Also, North and South America are separate continents

I meant “refer to the US as North America” but can no longer edit 🤦‍♀️

*refer to the US as “America”

God help me it’s Friday

Oh no, not the America vs U.S. thing...
America is one continent, United States of America (no s) is one country.
And there are regions of this one Continent. (Not separate continents omg)
And I'm realizing the British way to say it is great because they say U.S.

I couldn't care less how some U.S. citizens say or believe it is but I cannot believe this topic is here too. 😅
And I'm in America, not the U.S. and I won't circle back to this really, I just wanted to get it out of my chest :ROFLMAO:

The only thing I thought when Gobz kept saying America, was in a drinking game because that is her new sew cute apparently.

North America and South America are two different continents 💀
America is not one continent, maybe you’re taught differently where you live but in England and in the seven continent model, they are two separate continents

Let's not forget she stole the name of the shop from some other business abroad, and initially copied a lot of some girls art off her Instagram account. She's a shameless and talentless witch.
On another note, I've just randomly seen an ad for some weight loss thing called Juniper. Made me howl
