and on the free 5 min preview of the latest episode they discuss the "honesty diaries" video and Cam asks if she can ask Gabby a question that a lot of people commented on... "why do you take so many photos of yourself crying?". Gabby is silent for a few seconds (😂) and then says it's partly for her to look back on in years to come and see her progress, and partly because she wants people to believe she really does feel depressed. The clip cuts off just as Cam wraps it up with saying that as Gabby documents her life for her job that of course you're going to documents everything... "but I do find it funny, like it cracks ME up"

yeah in the episode they say how unsurprisingly cam helped her work on it. Clearly cam is trying to make her get more money/viewership and all gobs has in her is a few crying pics from when she ran out of ham or her mum said no to driving to her flat and cleaning it.
I find it a really interesting direction for her youtube chanel considering she never makes any efforts or tries usually. Their podcast is literally just a repeat of her youtube content Q&As and discussing how they met/how they knew they liked girls. Gobs saying she just never liked/looked at men... I mean we all saw her looking at Hobby but okie girl totally

Who are these people she needs to prove her mood to and why does it matter?

Also we've seen her post pics of her crying at a TV show, some of her crying after her nth surgery, there's no guarantee they're all moments of depression. And one pic will do!

I'm not denying her depression, just saying there's no reason to store hundreds of crying pics beyond being self absorbed.
 
So she’s run out of things to talk about and wants to try and cash in on mental health. She’s as gross as her lasagne bath water. She’s proven she’s attention seeking by taking photos of herself crying and then posting them. There is NO OTHER reason you do that, unless it’s for attention. It doesn’t make her relatable, it makes her pathetic

Mental health clickbait sadly always gets the views. I remember Zoe being the first back in the day with the "it all gets too much sometimes" vlog and a crying thumbnail which went viral. Then Tanya Burr shortly after copied it and got the views too. And these days, every Youtuber has depression or anxiety because it's so marketable and financially lucrative in terms of ads. I'm not surprised that Alan told her to monetize it, just that it took her so long to figure out how much money it could make her.
 
She takes the pictures for proof????? Proof to who?! Proof of what? That she has emotions???? She needs to be honest and say she does it because she thinks she looks nice. Spoiler alert, you do not look nice. In fact you look awful and deranged and it proves to me, that you are in fact not sad or distraught at all. You are just vain and weird
