She’s shared part of her Honestly video as a reel and it’s even more ridiculous somehow. The footage of the phone making call when she said she called her manager to say she couldn’t go to a preplanned event and the inclusion of the crying selfies 😂 The whole thing is giving Channel 5 documentary wishing it could be a Netflix one.

Plus the dramatic pause and face she makes when she says ‘instead of growing and flourishing into the person everyone said I could be …. I shrunk’. Stop.

It was all so scripted and fake. Number one rule, Gabbie lies.
She started off apparently in the depths of despair, unable to get out of bed and with a ‘trashed’ flat. She tried to match that with her voice and demeanour, but is possibly the worst actor I’ve ever seen. Then towards the end of video, when she’d accomplished her targets of tidying up, getting her nails done and singing, her voice and demeanour is all chirpy and sincere in a ‘yay me! I’m proud of myself’ kind of way.
duck off gobs. Most people with depression get up, go to work, look after their kids etc. She’s perfectly capable of getting up and doing stuff when she actually wants to - flying to Madrid, across the Atlantic etc
Disclaimer, of course some people with severe depression can’t function, I just think Gabbie is full of tit, her acting is worse than her singing x 100, and they staged those trashed rooms. Alan was there when that video was being filmed, if Gabbie was incapacitated in bed, why didn’t she tidy up and clean?

Sorry for the late reply - busy life and all.

I don't remember any exact instances of it. I just didn't care about her enough. We were in the same history class and I remember her just being a massive witch.

She was bullied - no denying that, but she didn't help herself if that's makes sense.

I don't really know how to explain it. She would back chat teachers and talk down to anyone who spoke to her - she was just a nasty person. She always thought she was better than everyone and was destined to be this great performer (no spoilers needed). She was called "gobby" for this reason - not because she was overweight.

She always hung around two lasses called Lois and Adelle. These were genuinely nice people and no idea why they hung around with her - but they were always together.

I don't remember gabby at sixth form but remember the other two. No idea what happened to her - and I didn't realise until I thought about it just now.

Looking at Facebook now Adelle and Lois still meet up and are both in well established careers, one as a paramedic! No sign of gabby - wouldn't be surprised if she dropped them when she found something better.

She just thought she was better than her roots. Which is fine. But john stones too was destined for greater things and still mentions (and proudly) he is from BARNSLEY. he doesn't say Sheffield like gabby does. She is a Barnsley lass and should be proud - but that's beneath her.

She thinks she is better than what she is and always has. All this bollocks about 'honest diaries' is the same gabby that was at school. Playing the victim but treating everyone else like tit.

She has had no growth in 15 years (that long?!) despite having the 'platform' to do so.

She was a two faced bitched then - and she's a two faced witch now.

Edit: also she NEEDS something to be wrong as she cannot accept self responsibility. Something else that hasn't changed.

If you haven't already seen it you may enjoy the wiki (the pink button at the top) for some 'highlights' (okay lowlights) of Gabriella's life since school. From memory she went to college but ended up dropping out (there's screenshots from a college promo video somewhere online). One of her many tall tales is that during college they made her sing behind a curtain rather than on stage (because of her weight, supposedly) 🙃 🤥
 
Dare I say it and I’ll probably be told to go to a rave thread 😂 but the parts of the video that she didn’t stage, pushing through to go to her music lesson, trying to tackle her messy house, feeling unable to reply to people and wanting to hide, trying to work up the courage to call the drs about medication etc - that tit was actually quite real and I did relate to a lot of what she said (as someone with actual depression diagnosis-wise). When she said about tackling one room by taking it one section at a time, I was like actually yeah I should really go clean my bombsite kitchen and that actually helped me because I get so overwhelmed when my house becomes a pit everything that going on tiny section at a time was useful and I woke up feeling much better this morning having achieved that. We know Gobs doesn’t like to go out and do things so fair play to her for actually going to her singing lesson. The anxiety would have 100% stopped me.

BUT the whole video was ruined by Scams stupid scripted bollocks that undermined the actual reality of depression. That was just gross. Combined with stock videos and self indulgent shots it turned what could have been a pretty genuine video about trying to overcome depression into a bleeping farce. I think if she cut the tit and just was focusing the video on the small steps she’s doing to actually improve herself and her MH she could do some good but the way she formatted the start with the stupid bleeping script ruined it.
 
I don’t think anyone could deny she clearly has MH issues that have gone unaddressed since she became an influencer (and earlier but the opportunity to do nothing for years on end has exacerbated the problem). However, she’s too comfortable and entrenched in her lifestyle and mental illness now to actively do anything about it. Even if she gets a sponsorship with better help she won’t actually be honest with a therapist or do the work she needs to process her issues. This is mostly a rebranding opportunity for her tbh since she’s probably aware her content is stale, views are low, and the current arrangement she has with Scam requires money she won’t have forever. Scam probably told her the type of content she’s publishing isn’t relevant to audiences nowadays.

If she was truly arrogant and thought she was better than the rest back then, I honestly don't know where it comes from. Her family is not super wealthy, she's not a looker, the most academic or the most talented. She could carry a tune but even her singing is only ok. Most people can sing even without training.

I guess she's as textbook as it gets. Her superiority complex comes from a ton of insecurity. She has to assert herself as better than others to cope with what she truly thinks of herself. Like others have said, it's obvious she has mental health issues but she doesn't help herself. At 30, she's still the same old kid who has no real friends and no amount of surgeries/weight loss on the outside can make her pretty on the inside.

id say a lot of it comes from her parents, Jane in particular she panders to her and let’s her get away with all the tit she’s done.
 
Gabby’s mental health makes her very vulnerable. She’s been so alone because of the way she lashes out at people and cuts them out, so it’s a lot of pressure for Cam, and also a lot of power for the wrong kind of person. Gabby is already calling Cam her soulmate and best friend as well as partner. Having a close friend is as new an experience for her as having a lover is.
