i deffo think it’s weird but surely the only real time she’d have got her legs out in front of anyone would be when she had the liposuction on her legs (i think it was lipo idk) and it wouldn’t surprise me if it was a dodgy doctor who either wasn’t knowledgable or just did the surgery anyway because they’d have lost a client otherwise, idk much about it but it’s definitely obvious by looking that she has ir

There’s no chance, she decided overnight that she had lipodema because then her weight wouldn’t be her “fault”, because it’s not caused by obesity. She was apparently fine and then the minute she decided she had lipodema suddenly she says she’d been suffering with the worst pain ever in her legs it was sew bad it was the worst the doctors had ever seen but we’re supposed to believe that Gabby, public sharer of every ailment including every last drop of blood when she’s got her period, never mentioned this horrifically debilitating pain before then?

That's not true though, she's spoken about her lipodema before and it's pretty obvious she does have it from past images and the ones of her legs shown. She had previous lipodema surgery on her legs and arms mentioned in her Honesty video but it came back as she's a wally who thinks she can eat tubs of butter as a snack.

The last bit though - it’s not caused by obesity apparently so that shouldn’t affect it? The excess weight came back from her eating, that doesn’t make it lipodema.

I always just assumed she was looking for an excuse for her weight tbh, blaming excess weight on lipodema, although I admittedly did miss that she’d mentioned it before, clearly her many million illnesses and complaints have all blended into one. (I personally didn’t think really the photos she shared round about her Spain surgery looked like lipodema legs though)

Where lipodema comes from isn't quite known but while the diet and weight won't cause it they can absolutely affect it and make it worse.

I mean, you're right in that she appeared to get a total hack doctor who offered to do her surgery for free for a bit of promotion. Perhaps it wasn't lipodema this time around and she just wanted free lipo.

I also think given the fact that George was also an overweight child and their dad seems to have been quite big, there's a family history of obesity there which is totally shown in Gobby's eating habits. So while I do think she had lipodema, I also think she has an underlying problem with eating crap that for some reason she hasn't solved and instead relies on surgery and medication to slim down. Which is daft because she will just keep getting fat instead of putting in the psychological and nutritional work and there will come a time when surgeons won't touch her anymore.
 
Lipedema will never fully go away, it's something she will have for life and even people within the healthy weight range can have it. It can get worse as you get older and the stages can change, that is the thing that she will always need to manage as weight, diet and lifestyle can contribute to all of these things, but it's not the cause. If you go back and look at her old pictures, you can see she genuinely does have it. It can also change through times where you hormones change like puberty, pregnancy and menopause. However, the first time she had surgery on her legs she admitted to putting on weight before she'd healed.. that wouldn't have helped her cause either.
 
I fully believe she has lipedema, it would be really beneficial if she wore compression garments!
shes almost missing a trick here, so many young people suffer with this condition she could use her platform to educate and maybe team up with a company who produces/supplies those garments apposed to jumping the gun straight to surgery.

I thought the same, if they haven't seen each other for a while why would he not want to show her where they were living etc. It gives me the feeling it was a last minute decision (possibly prompted after we pointed out it was terrible she hadn't been but was all over the US and France) and that they met in a cafe near the train station for an hour or so and she whizzed off back to Brighton.

The selfies where she was in the room with big windows was definitely someone's house, so it seemed she did go to where they live. Or is this her flat?
