Does anyone else think it's a little odd that cam didn't meet Gabbie at the airport?

Personally, I'd be at the gates with flowers ready to sweep my girl off her feet, out for food and back to the hotel.

I don't drive and my nearest airport is either 2 hours or 4 hours away (depending on the flight availablity) but you bet your ass when my girl was coming home I'd travel through hell or high water so I was standing at arrivals waiting for her

But then again what would my 10 years of experience in a same sex relationship with on and off periods of LDR know??

I don't get it either and I don't think it bodes well considering it's only the second time they're meeting. Whoever it is, if somebody is flying to see me, I meet them at the airport. It's just what you do, isn't it?

The airport thing wouldn’t personally bother me tbf. I’d rather go and have a shower and decompress before meeting someone. Also maybe Gabby is in a real stink of a mood (evidenced in her stories) and Cam is steering clear until she’s calmed down

My other half and I are in a LDR too. When we go on holiday, flying from our respective countries, we try and get our flight times as close as possible but we always wait at the airport for the other person to land! I've waited 3 hours before!

Who wants to navigate the way to the hotel on their own?!

Do we know if they've even met up yet? My impression from the desperate "who wants to meet for coffee while I'm in NYC" story is that she might be there on her own for a day or two. She probably crashed the moment she arrived at the hotel because being active for 8+ hours completely drained her and she'll need a day to recover where she just gets Starbucks and prints selfies before she has to pretend she's someone else for a week with the "girlfriend".

Fair play to her if she really has flown on her own (and Jane isn’t in her suitcase)
I’m petrified of flying even with my family with me, so doing it on her own is something I’d be proud of

I do miss the ham and hair dye break down content from her, but I’m glad she’s trying different things ‍♀ I would have met her at the airport if I was in their situation, but I guess it does depend on what Cam is doing etc.

I’m sorry, maybe it’s the exhaustion, but she looks MISERABLE. I myself came back last week from a 28h trip so I understand, but on the way TO the holiday destination I was so happy - dropped my suitcases, showered, and went for dinner & drinks. She just seems distraught/uncomfortable/anxious/annoyed. I don’t think she’ll leave her hotel room alone except to maybe get a starbucks from downstairs.

Naaa it’s always been from page 48, at least on this thread. Think it’s different for other threads like Mrs Hinch where there’s a new thread every day. I know this because my thread title didn’t get picked ages ago so I was miffed lol a mod said thread titles are to be chosen from 48 onwards. Just an FYI for future reference, and so the thread title is more relevant. If it’s changed then maybe a mod can let us know?
