I feel sorry for her about this. She'll have wanted to keep things private for a reason and there's Scam splashing it all over social media.

I guess Gabbie is willing to overlook red flags because she’s finally in a relationship for the first time. I’ve been there, I’m sure many of us have. She has nothing to compare it to. I’m sure Cam has totally love bombed her and she’s so excited and happy that somebody likes her, she can’t see the truth, or is willing to overlook it, for now ..
 
My kneejerk reaction is to feel sorry that sCam is massively betraying Gabby's confidence but she must know this is going on so must not mind?

The effort to keep things hush hush when all you need to do is ask sCam a question and she gives up all the goods! She'd be terrible under interrogation.
 
So I just had a nosy on Cam’s tumblr and I’m sure that this has been mentioned before but I’m not a regular on this thread but I just had to say my piece

Scam (lol) essentially runs a verbal version of Tattle . Some similarities …

✔ she keeps herself anonymous and doesn’t share her real name / picture of herself
✔ she spends her time speculating and discussing the sexuality (weirder than what ee do) and private life of someone she has never met
✔ she has a “keep out of the comments” rule , similar to our “keep it on tattle” rule
✔ she is critical of Taylor Swift , just as we are of influencers
✔ she justifies it by saying it has created a community …. Well , what is tattle if it is not a community ? There are users on here I engage with who know more about me than some people who know me irl and vice versa . I care about many users on here like I know them . If that’s not a community , then what is ?
✔ she describes her podcast as ethical gossip , which is exactly what I’d describe tattle as .
✔ acknowledges celebrities like Taylor Swift don’t like what she is doing but because she’s not directing it at them and instead at her community , then it’s fine …. Hmmm … pot kettle ?

of course she tries to say we’re evil because gabbie is just a 🥺 smol yewtuber 🥺 (with 750k followers … sooo small 🙄) who hasn’t invited speculation on her personal life and it’s not fair and we are just mean haterzzz .

Gabbie has invited speculation on her personal life throughout her career . She has repeatedly:

✔ alleged to medical issues / posted attention seeking posts of her in hospital to stir up discussion and speculation
✔ shared cryptic things about relationships she’s been in (surprise cricket match , anyone?)
✔ talked openly online about fallouts she’s had with people in her real life , like Zoe and Becca Rose
✔ made underhand and indirect comments about people she’s fallen out with , such as Lucy and Lydia and Hobbie
✔ made cryptic posts about her family situation and her issues with her dad all in the name of attention seeking
✔ had a public spat with Alfie Deyes on Twitter

… just to name a few !

How is that different to Taylor Swift writing songs about men who have wronged her ? Well , I guess Taylor’s songs are catchy and Gabbie’s constantly vying for attention is a pain in the arse but that’s where the differences end !

also if Gabbie really wanted to keep things private , she could . Lots of YouTubers keep their relationships offline and don’t talk or name their partners , even those who are married or in long term relationships . She could’ve easily hidden this strange online fling if she wanted to , but she hasn’t . She’s doing what she’s always done - sharing small snippets to drive up speculation and therefore engagement .

look in the bleeping mirror , Scam . You are doing exactly what we are doing and try to justify it and doing so very weakly , might I add . The only difference is you’re dating Gabbie and now know what it’s like to be on the receiving end of this . How do you think Joe Alwyn would feel about what you’re saying about Taylor ? Oh right , you’re soooo deluded that you think she’s secretly shacked up with Karlie Kloss (who is married … to a MAN) , and Joe is just a paid actor in her life ! Silly me - you don’t even regard him as real at all !
