Must say I love The Curious Case of Jewniper Jane. It sounds like an early Enid Blyton-esque style mystery book; would have been all over it when I was 8

I’m seriously showing my age now, but when I was really young I absolutely loved reading my mums old Mallory Towers books from when she was little. Enid Blyton would absolutely be cancelled these days, they’re so old fashioned in terms of stereotypes but I won’t go into that.. my sister bought me a boxed set for Christmas and they were so boring because absolutely anything a little controversial had been deleted from them so kind of made them pointless. Anyway, the point is.. if anyone’s ever read the originals, Gabs and Jane are Gwendoline Mary and her mummy in a nutshell!! EXACTLY like them!

I did say we wouldn’t be allowed “head” in the title 😜 going off the fact we weren’t even allowed foreskin top in the title before 🤣🤣🤣🤣🙄🙄🙄

Ugh I hope they haven’t changed the faraway tree books or the wishing chair ones. They were my favourites. Used to read them over and over and “the book of brownies” (nothing to do with the brownies/guides 😉🤣)

Dick and Fanny from the faraway tree are now called Rick and Franny ...

My elder siblings had the books and I used to read them just to see what delicious picnics they were having, they loved going into detail over the food! Gabby would never be able to handle the food, imagine her having cucumber sandwiches 😭

A gentle reminder to those who don't know

Gabriella Lindley aka YouTuber Velvetgh0st owner of Shop Juniper Moon is famous for shitting in a box (twice! Wiki for details) and stalking Zoella by moving to an overpriced flat in Brighton which has rotting windows and festering cat poo

I know this has prob been already discussed but? She having a laugh? If all she posts on social media is "amazing things" like her howling and bawling over the slightest twinge, doing a food shop, watching trash TV, and eating hotdog, butter and cheddar cheese pasta, then may the good lord help her....does she really think we're all sat here envious of the "amazing" life she portrays?

Absolutely ignorant and tone deaf. It’s called a box room love, and many many people do use them as bedrooms because they have no choice. My 17 year old is in one, it has a single bed in it and not much else. And she’s grateful, because at least she has her own space, unlike her two brothers who are 15 and 20 and have to sleep in bunk beds in a shared room ( when eldest is home from uni, which he is because lockdown ). Must be nice to live on planet Gab ( not really, I wouldn’t swap for the world).
