Each to their own obviously but I can’t believe how much stuff she is buying second hand for her first baby. God knows where half of that stuff has been that's she’s buying off Facebook mp, and then it's just slung on her grubby carpets for her cat to roll all over.

I don’t listen to her stories, I just have the occasional flick through but I spotted the Purflo nest she posted earlier with the cat laid in it. If that’s second hand then she really needs to do some reading, you’re specially told not to use items like that second hand.
Plus I’m sure if she looked at Purflo’s socials she’d see they’re CONSTANTLY gifting stuff to mummy bloggers so she’s missed a trick there.

She shouldn’t be cleaning the litter tray out when she’s pregnant unless she wants Toxoplasmosis. She said she was in the very early stages of pregnancy when the cat went missing and that was about 14 weeks ago according to Instagram.

Maybe she's immunised against toxoplasmosis? Here the test is mandatory before getting married and first times of pregnancy.

If you are not immunised, you can get toxoplasmosis which is generally nothing but can be very dangerous for the foetus if you get it during your pregnancy.
About 50% of adults had it (so are immunised) without knowing. It's asymptomatic most of the time.

Shouldn't really be changing dirt trays during pregnancy. There is a parasite in the poo that can cause problems with the baby. Toxoplasmosis is the big name for it !

It says “I just never thought I’d have a bump” and she’s resting her hand on her fat again like it’s a baby bump. Is she just pretending to believe it’s a bump for that maternity clothing £££?

I think there is a lot of snobbery surrounding baby items being new. There is nothing wrong with buying 2nd hand, with a few, limited exceptions (car seats being one). The less unnecessary brand new stuff there is in the world the better, I think it's actually great that she's promoting preloved items, it removes some of the stigma.

I think there is a lot of snobbery surrounding baby items being new. There is nothing wrong with buying 2nd hand, with a few, limited exceptions (car seats being one). The less unnecessary brand new stuff there is in the world the better, I think it's actually great that she's promoting preloved items, it removes some of the stigma.

Like I said, each to their own! Personally I didn't buy 2nd hand for my first baby, my choice. And being honest I don't know anyone in my circle of friends or family who did for their first child.

Yes, it’s a parasite that can be found in cats faeces. It can cause miscarriage, stillbirth, birth defects, liver and spleen problems in the baby or intellectual disabilities and hearing loss that might not be picked up until the child is older.

Maybe that’s why she was so keen for the cat to go outside again, given that she had a broken pelvis and was meant to be on cage rest they had her out and moving far too soon.
