Totally agree! As someone who has had a late miscarriage and termination for medical reasons (which I’m over now so no sympathy needed) her post is basically laughable.
Normally she would just need 3 scans, unless there is a medical problem. It's so lovely for the parents (especially the first two, at the third baby is too big) but it's done for medical reasons/measurements/diagnosis basically.
She said she was a while ago and then must have seemed too much like hard work!!
I think the issue was that she was expecting more movement than is the norm for the 1st trimester so was rushing off for scans and heartbeat checks...I agree it's always best to check but also considering how much of an expert she professes to be on all things pregnancy she also twists the narrative to suit her drama ! I'm pretty sure it was on one of those scan appointments that she uttered that pretty repugnant statement about the couple with their new born baby.Not sure why you’ve quoted me but in case I’m missing something lol you also have extra scans if there are movement concerns etc. I’m all for “enjoy the pregnancy, let the baby grow in peace” but they always advise that if movement changes or concerns you, you should get checked out by a medical professional. People get pressured into ignoring movement changes because they don’t want to look stupid or feel embarrassed or don’t want to waste anyone’s time. Even though she’s an absolute twit with a lot of stuff, FFFB is doing the right thing getting checked if there’s something off about movements and it’s stuff like “she just wants a free scan” like someone said further up that puts people off going to get medical advice.
Not defending or raving but it’s daft to pick at someone for doing something right when there’s so much they do wrong to post about
Alright I don't know how is it in Britain. Here we are checked every month anyway (from before the end of the 3rd month) but we don't necessarily have an echography each time. She's lucky she doesn't have to work during her pregnancy, as in actually doing a tiring, full time, proper job.
Yeah, I can remember having to get the tube into work in the office everyday, with mad morning sickness too, it was not great, but I managed and so do multiple other people!! She thinks it is hard to sit at home gorging herself on a kilo of glacé cherries and complaining in her 80 stories on Instagram!!!
