Friends #2 The one with the second thread

I fully accept that they absolutely WERE on a break, however it annoys me that people think Ross didn’t do anything wrong. He slept with someone hours after they had argued, treated Chloe appallingly, shoving her behind the door while getting back together with Rachel and then covering his tracks. His behaviour was vile. And then still blames Rachel for the breakup.

Yeah I agree. Ross would never have forgiven her if she slept with Mark

He's definitely not the first and certainly won't be the last person to get drunk and upset after a break up and do something really dumb.

But he should've dealt with the aftermath a lot better, been honest about his drunken actions. That's what he did wrong.

Mark basically lived rent free in Ross' head. So jealous.

I really liked David Schwimmer’s point that the debate wasn’t about whether or not they were on a break it was whether it was acceptable for him to sleep with someone whilst they were on a break (which I think was awful) but found his point interesting because everyone says we’re they or weren’t they on a break.

That’s a good point. Because it was technically a break and not necessarily a total split.
