Yes I remember watching the interview with one of the writers who said they didn’t know which direction to go in with the Ross/Emily relationship, then David came in and did a scene where he said Rachel’s name instead of Emily’s and started the scene again and they said it was a lightbulb moment for them

Sorry taking away from the quotes, did no one else notice the lack of consistency from seeing or hearing about anyone’s parents across the 10 seasons (maybe minus jack and Judy)? First few seasons then bam nothing till doctor greens heart attack, bit odd we never see Joey or phoebes parents again, even chandlers I thought were underused

I guess it made sense in a way that we only saw a lot of Monica and Ross’s parents as ultimately we did see other members of Rachel, Joey and Phoebe’s family. Additionally a lot of Monica’s issues were as a result of her parents, especially Judy. It makes sense that we don’t see much of Chandlers parents with an almost estranged relationship between him and his Dad.

I still think Amy is one of the best family members for the 2 episodes she’s in.

I always found it a bit odd that Ross' parents are in the in episode where Emma is born, but Rachel's aren't...
