This may be an unpopular opinion but I have to share it. I absolutely hate their bedroom, especially the carpet.
Its the wall colour that I find offputting. It is a lovely large room, but without wardrobes or much other furniture, there is so much unused space, while the spare bedroom is overflowing with her stuff. Now she wants to have more wardrobes in den 'filming room' ... I don't get it, well I do, it's just about the look, isn't it?
100%. As if she’s ever going to wear that cheap & nasty knock off Essentials hoody when shes been alternating between 2 Anine Bing hoodies recently!
Ugh, those ugly Anine Bing jumpers. That's the Ed Hardy for the influencer generation.
Without knowing what they feel like, I think the two Poundland jumpers did look lovely, especially the deep brown hoodie.
Now, I have something thats been nagging me for a while. I probably have a more begnin opinion of Youtubers because I would classify doing regular uploads, getting sponsors for most videos and having a steady presence on other social media as work. What I can't with, is when they do the bare minimum and still expect to grow their viewership.
I watch Laura Caldwell - she is an antiques dealer and thrift shopper, and most of her videos are shopping vids and hauls. What she does though is also showing how she would style up the pieces. She will show, for example, a vase she purchased in a modern, vintage and rustic setting - like 3 catalogue shots of a group of pieces. IMHO it adds purpose and value to her videos and shows that she has a good eye / knows what she is doing.
Thats something our Freya could easily do aswell. Instead everything she does is hoarding in anticipation for the new kitchen/finished house. Her videos better deliver once the ground floor is done. (What are the odds once the kitch is in, she will just move on to hoarding for the garden/outdoor kitchen?)
