Just finished watching her latest vlog and I was bored stiff, I had to fast forward a lot. It just feels a bit narc - all about her.
Then whilst I was making a cuppa another influencer came on and wow what a difference, she had my full attention. That girl had balls! To quote the dreadful Elle Swift "you do you boo!" #washesmouthout.
Strutting down the middle pavements in underwear, trench coat blowing up at the back and bus driver probably getting an eyeful 😂🤣😂, but as she says I can look back on this when I,'m 80 and say to myself "you looked good!"
That's the type of person I want to listen to. I feel empowered now. 😄
not that I'm feeling the urge to strut half naked myself. I'll do something else. 😁

When Freya is 80 she'll look back to the time where she looked young and fresh and see pictures of her wearing oversized beige loungewear. And having too much 'social anxiety' to go out and do anything fun.
 
Who has time to put the toaster in and out of a cupboard for frig sake
Why does she need all of those spices and oils and tit she only ever cooks hello fresh or m and s ready meals
That glass jar of dog treats which are for a puppy BTW not a fully grown adult dog really grind my gears just why
 
I am confused by the ergonomics of her pantry organisation Why put the (heavy) tins in the top cupboard, the very top shelf no less, and the baking stuff in the clear tub at the bottom? I would've swapped it around. And the wicker baskets (with the crisps) on top too - she will have to take the whole basket down to check whats in it, if its on the bottom you can just pull it out and look from the top. Any excuse for buying another aesthetically pleasing stepladder, I guess.
 
Possibly unpopular ( hear me out 🤣) but as time goes on I actually really prefer her to a lot of other “influencers”… she makes no secret of what she’s doing, she said the other day she takes a lot of stuff back, but she openly says she’s showing us what is in the shops, in the same way I guess that you’d see stuff in a magazine.. but in comparison to the likes of stuck up Josie Fashion Mumblr or whatever she calls herself, and Frow and Lydia etc, who are all pretentious twats who try their hardest to actually hide the fact they are advertising every 4 seconds, she seems to be much more down to earth and open about it. And she has a nice looking dog 🤣
I’ll get back in my box now and to try and balance it out I’ll say that she does need to get some colour in her life 🤣🤣🤣

In my opinion this is no excuse for her constant consumerism and pressuring her followers to buying so much tat during a cost of living crisis. Her life is completely empty and I stopped watching because of how depressing it is to watch. I’ve recently stopped buying in to this lifestyle and instead spend my time and money on doing stuff with loved ones and having experiences and memories rather than cheap plastic crap from Home Bargains. I am so much happier now.

If she’s returning stuff this much then I hope she starts getting banned from the shops she’s doing it in.

I do think that there are positive things to say about her. I think she takes being an influencer serious in so far as she uploads regularly, her editing is fine and considering her subscriber numbers she does get sponsoships regularly. What she is not, is an innovator.
Its nice that she talks about mental health, or having botox, doing the bare faced stuff or being more realistic about shopping hauls, but she does it because it's worked for other YTers. She would never be the first to do it.

I have an 'issue' with the shop (and haul) and return mentality. Once the shops get fed up and introduce less lenient return policies or (like Amazon) end free return shipping, these are the people partly responsible for that and the first to cry wolf. Plus, what we know about returned clothes going into the trash. And donating stuff to charity (thrift) shops doesn't do anything to reduce textile waste if the donation is immediately replaced with more fast fashion.

That house needs to be kept in tip top shape because every room has to be camera ready fso this self styled Hincher can tell you what scent of Carpet-Fresh and Zoflora is new in B&M.
 
I’ve said it before, but what I like about Freya is that she isn’t fake. she doesn’t pretend her subs are her best friends.Even down to having an influencer name, she separates her work from her personal life.
