Very unwise post from her. She needs to learn how to be professional and composed. I’m not criticising on that point it will really benefit Freddy’s wellbeing and outlook on life if she learns how to control herself without “churning” out comments/responses to that. If it was me, I would ignore it. I’m not obliged to replying and if I did, diplomacy is always the best way of handling commentators because ultimately it is the viewers/commentators that is providing Freddy an income. Never bite the hand that feeds you, not only is she doing just that but also giving people every reason not to engage or buy her products. There is no excuse for abuse, from the viewers and also applies to Freddy. She is not above decency (wasn’t me who wrote to her)

I respect the authenticity of the statement that isn 't fulfilled by yt anymore/why would she want to create content if she isn't happy. People change jobs all the time. Though you'd think after being online she would be able to put out a statement that isn't filled with angry and bitchiness. At the end of the day she has this "new career" because of her following. '

I don't understand why she can't just make a new yt for flossy.

These comments really struck a nerve lol one mentions Josie's work ethic, another mentions now watching Emily Canham .... 😂😂😂
You can almost hear Freddy stomping her ugly white drum majorette boot and the whining voice in her reply.
Lazy brat. She gets ZERO sympathy from me.
She is always so rude in the comments (and on IG) so I'm glad she was called out in the comments.

Unwise completely to be having a go one minute then almost begging her audience for sympathy. Most regular people have to get up go to work which usually is decided for them by life not their desires. Sorry but she has the easiest life in comparison to the average worker in this country who don’t have time to complain, feel sorry for themselves or be embittered by it. They are too busy working their guts out to break even at the end of the month. To feed themselves as well as their families. Her latest proffering is tone deaf, juvenile, bitter and incredibly ungrateful. She should try a day in the life of a migrant shift worker who has to send most of their salary every month to support their family back home. Then start complaining about missing being a normal person or whatever sobbing reason she has been very self indulgent on in that silly post. Dear me what a pickle she puts herself in

I thought we'd arrive to this. Does it make sense for an influencer to diversify? Yes, I think it is usually the natural progression. The problem with Freddy is that she created Flossy because she is lazy and wanted and easy way out.

She ditched YouTube completely and is only using her social media channels to promote Flossy. Most YouTubers I know are very hard working and dedicated and develop their own brand by either engaging a professional person/team to edit and help out or by dedicating their whole career to being an influencer. Freddy doesn't want to do any of this. She's too lazy to take photos or film videos. She's too cheap to employ someone... with the excuse that she's a perfectionist. So she'll just throw her fans a video once every two months to promote her Flossy line. Thus her fans feel cheated that she only reaches out when she wants to sell them something and basically that's what she's doing. Even her IG account is basically her shoving Flossy down our throats.

What is also contradictory is that Freddy spent a lot of energy promoting high street fashion throughout her YT career. In my opinion what made her channel popular was her Haul Week where she would feature the best finds from high streets for that season. I am sure she attracted a lot of teens and young women who could only afford high street prices. Now she's suddenly shilling dresses which have a premium price tag. Apart from that the quality of her product is clearly substandard, those dresses are not something anyone would realistically wear.
 
I always find it hilarious when she says “work”. Like what is she doing? She launches three dresses every few months… like is she making them at home herself?

And of course people on YouTube are annoyed. They followed you for your content, not for you to try to flog them a £150 dress every few months!

She's getting alot of comments from her followers wanting her to do her old haul videos on youtube... I doubt that will happen as she does not like working except to occasionally showcase her 'new' clothing collections a couple times a year.

Someone ought to tell our lil clever dictator of fashion Freddy Freds she really really does not suit baby doll dresses.
Actually, 95% of the dresses in her collection look quite ridiculous on her.
Same with those stupid curls. So old-fashioned. So childish.
Mademoiselle Dictator is so clever why is she taking so long to figure this out ... ???

I have to say, ill-fitting baby doll dresses aside, she is starting to look quite "homely" as does her bestie Josie. The fact that they consider themselves fashion influencers seems to be top tier trolling on their parts ...
