Freddy my love #10 still trying to make Flossy a thing she doesn’t have much else to bring

I went through a blonde phase and the maintenance was the part I hated. Personally I think she hates her hair naturally darkened as she had this idea of her being a pretty blonde
Yep, it's definitely rooted in anglocentric beauty standards and not her fault specifically, but I think it's extremely common for women to have been light blonde as children, integrated that into their identity, and then have a hard time letting that go when they're adults and their hair is just "average" light to medium brown.

Ok I understand now thanks. It’s different then because in my home growing up having a blonde mum and dad and both of them being Baltic. My brother and sister both blonde too it wasn’t a big deal. Even at school nobody made a big hullabaloo there were plenty of blondes in my class, along with red, brunettes, maybe it’s different in state schools than Freddy’s stage school culture. Summer wasn’t so fun burning on the sports pitch. I guess Freddy’s environment was different, hers seemed to be revolved around beauty, image, creative performance nothing wrong with it but it just seems like she’s trying to prove something there’s more important things in life though

Somebody else can explain I don’t understand her obsession on having her hair dyed? Why is being a certain hair colour so important to her?

She gives blondes a bad name... being blonde does not mean being a mean girl or a Disney princess...she is a vapid excuse for a human being... she seems to base her whole personality on a supposed hair color.......just   to her.

I just like some light blonde highlights but coloring it all blonde is just too much for me. Definitely too much maintenance. I agree about her wanting to stay a pretty blonde (princess?) too bad though that she is ugly on the inside.

Yeah. In Poole Dorset that is being blonde wasn’t a status symbol though. There was a huge focus then in the 90s about achievement usually through sports and academia. There were many sporting events like the Poole Town athletics and competing through school and there always the Minithon marathon racing around Poole park lake and other activities there were a few like Freddy but they got ignored even if you were good looking but I was blonde, athletic before I got cursed with my chest nobody focused on looks. I don’t know what it is like now but there is more to life. I find it sad and head scratching that she is so obsessed by it she’s only 6 years younger than me, don’t you grow out of these obsessive phases after you buy your first bottle of Clearasil and bin the old Mizz magazines?

I think she’s done it cos her sister has gone more blonde and she’s always trying one-up coco who is far more interesting and has more going on for her tha.
She was very funny. I read some of her posts before never held back
She definitely didn’t, that’s for sure! I didn’t really find her funny. I found her quite stubborn, old-fashioned and egocentric but she thought she was funny and that’s all that matters! Definitely made for some interesting reading though, hope she’s doing well :)

I agree with you, she was very egocentric. I hope she’s well too. Also it’s interesting you pointing out rivalry between Coco and Freddy, they do seem to compete a lot with each other

Aww wittle princess Freddy is scared of a scary movie

Why does she act like an 8 year old who is being dragged to the horror films? You are a grown woman, just say you don't want to and stay home jfc. I'm a chicken, I don't like horror films and I can't remember a single instance where people made a big deal after telling them that I don't enjoy watching this stuff. Everything in her life is fake 🙄

Her way of getting engagement is so childish. So don’t go? I don’t like gory movies so I don’t watch them. Or here’s another thought.. go and see if you like it. If you don’t? “oh my, I’m finding this movie rather scary.. I’m going to step out and go and get a coffee & nibble and I’ll catch up with you guys when the movie is finished!” Ya know, adult solutions.
