No. He is not okay. They should take away his Oscar and he needs anger management. Personally don't think he deserves it in the first place but anyone capable of that, then trying to justify it should face consequences. I mean we know FIA would be rolling out fines.
Honestly I think people got some bad ptsd from covid shutdowns and it's all kinda boiling over.

Hiiii, long time lurker but I finally decided to make an account because everytime I read through the threads I am dying to join in on the conversation so here we are 👏🏻

Little intro, if you haven’t noticed by my username I am a die hard Max fan 🦁
I am from Spain but don’t care much for Sainz or Alonso (although I admire Alonso heaps, just don’t care if he does well or not 😂).
I have lived in Perth for many years so DR is very spesh to me and whenever I’m sad I watch Maxiel videos and the world becomes a better place.

My partner is weirdly in love with Lando. Actual conversation from last week between him and I:

POV Landos’ helmet cam
Commentator: We are inside Landos’ cockpit
Me: Every under 21y/o’s dream minus the pit
28y/o BF: and mine

so there’s that.

As much as I am a Max die hard fan I find him very fish looking and not attractive EXCEPT, the sweat, I could jump on that.
Hate Horner, adore Hamilton as a person, Leclerc bores me, sick of Latifi being the new Mazepin, KMag’s return and performance makes me happier than I thought and I would die for Vettel.

idk much about their girls but Heidi intrigues me , she looks gorgeous, effortlessly beautiful and I like how they keep it private. I’ll learn more about the rest on this thread no doubt 😂

It’s weird… I understand having an emotional reaction to something like that. And I also believe that no one gets to dictate what anyones emotional reaction to something should be. So if the joke upset them then that’s fine. BUT!!! even though you can’t dictate someone’s emotional reaction You can hold them accountable for their physical and verbal reaction. I don’t think he should go to jail or anything but I do think he should be called to task. What he did on stage didn’t line up with the message he was trying to deliver when he won. “Love will make you do crazy things” is very toxic and generally an excuse for misdoings in my opinion.

I don’t like a world where comedians can’t make jokes. Most humor comes from pain anyway. That’s why it’s so relatable.

Full honesty. Was in an abusive relationship many years ago, and hearing him say that totally triggered me. I heard that line too many times before. And I hope it won't be let go as some kind of justification. Also Serena Williams dad should be pretty upset that he compared it to his family.

Update Chris Rock won't file charges so nothing will happen other than now people will remember this more than his Oscar win.

I love max too, he used to be my no 1 when I first started watching F1. My friends always ask me why I like him. i just say that I like angry dutchmen😈

I’ve just seen it 😮 what an embarrassing moment for him. The fact she sat there smiling when he said love will make you do crazy things also. Imagine winning the trophy of your life and it being tarnished by his outburst. Such a shame coz I really liked him, even after the table talk of their open marriage and how she was sleeping with her sons friend and he allowed it. Crrraaazy.

My mum is the one that always watched the F1 at my house back in the day and when I moved away I kinda stopped watching F1 until she told me I should watch it again cause there’s this new young aggressive driver that she loves, so I started watching it again because of Max. I think he is a top bloke tbh and I hope he can win a championship without being tarnished by controversy, I really think he deserves it.

also, @iona.a.smith before you say anything, it was a typo you don’t have a thing for Flavio, gotcha 😂

1.Favorite wag: i would say Lily (she seems really funny and i love her relationship with Alex) and Luisa (she seems funnny too and i don't know, she has a good vibe 😂)

2. Least favourite driver: Lance. Sometime i want to shake him and scream "Come on you have a Dream job, try to, at least, show that you are enjoying it ffs 🤦‍♀️"

3. Least favorite wag: probably Sandra. Don't have anything against her really except the fact that she is always posing when in front of creepy Kym or other photographers.
