I think the point here is, by now, they should be giving that order.
Their lack of direction has cost points in both championships today.

Morally, they should race as best as they could. Mathematically, they have to count the points.
Of course, if points that could have been earned by team orders will be missing at the end of the season, it'd be bad for them. If Lando loses because of it, he definitely won't be happy. But if they did it all via team orders, it'd be morally really crappy win.
So I can see both ways and each has good and bad points at the same time.

This was McLaren’s to lose and they did
Oscar’s move was bold but I’m a Max Verstappen fan so you’ll never hear me complaining about that I love hard racing so I think it was a great move
I also understand Lando’s annoyance, but let’s be honest, he f*cked up again
McLaren needs to get themselves together is my conclusion

I like a good move, but he's cost them points in the WCC today too. Should've sat in the lead 'as is' built a lead on Ferrari in clean air, and one-stopped, fighting each other in space.
Taking the move on Lando allowed Charles through.

As for the last sentence, shout it louder for the tit strategists at the back!

I just think back to the Rosberg Hamilton debacle. This is how I can see this heading. I agree team need to sort it pronto but stupid moves which jeopardise both cars and the teams chance is down to the individual driver.

You know I’m a diehard Lewis fan. But I never had an issue with Rosberg going for it whenever he could. His dirty tactics behind the scenes I didn’t appreciate, I think at times he was super twisted actually, but on track racing is racing. But yes it absolutely should fall on the team if they feel like they need to do that, the onus should never be on the driver imo

Oscar is a fantastic driver and I appreciate great driving but he pissed me off by passing Lando there on the track. It's not much deeper than that.

For sure! And reading my message back it sounded wayyy more aggressive than I meant it to, sorry! Completely understand your opinion, I just personally absolutely adore rough drivers
I just hope McLaren will learn from this year because I would love to see Lando as a champion but this year I’m not sure he and they deserve it, maybe next year

The bigger concern is also that if they don't make the call, it's going to cause bad-blood between the drivers. No one wants that.
