I wanna preface this by saying I think this photo of Lando is very nice and I think he’s a very handsome man and this is in no way anything against him at all.
When I see a photo like this I can’t help think how unfair it is that if a wag had some minor skin problems like he has in this photo she would be KILLED online by hate comments and body shaming.
Again, nothing against Lando, I also have periods in the month where I have bumps and/or acne so I know that it sucks, I’m merely commenting on sexism of online hate and expectations and this photo reminded me of it :(

I agree. I'm sure his is due to sweating under his fireproof as it always seems to improve during long breaks. But it's the women who get comments on it more that's for sure.

To be completely honest, I don't think we'd actually see some wag with (such) skin problems if they edit and photoshop even when it's absolutely not needed. 😬 And that is also something that creates the problem as people take edited skin as "normal" or "natural". People go around praising this, wishing to have clear skin like that when it's not even their real skin.
I've seen couple of times people called Louise or Tiffany ugly exactly because of this, because they don't photoshop themselves and their skin is actually "normal" and therefor ugly. :(

It really puts pressure on women to be AI perfect which is sad. Unfortunately all their airbrushing and fillers/surgery also makes them look 10 years older than they actually are. 🤷‍♀️
