My Time to shine! So most people are pissed about the environmental thing I think so far.yeah it's kinda cool in theory but you can scam and be scammed very easily
NFTs are v complicated, but my basic level of understanding is basically a buyer gets the unique data that is attached to whatever .jpeg or image sold. Which is easily scammable because you can just save as the picture and there isn't a way to determine proof of ownership but I may be mistaken. There also isn't a way to protect your art from being swiped for it

NFTs have a crazy environmental impact as well. There's a huge amount of computing power needed to create NFTs. Which is also problematic especially when last I checked F1 was trying to do something about their carbon footprint and a driver flaunting NFTs probably isn't the most consistent messaging. There's an article somewhere that mentioned selling 6 NFTs in a matter of seconds wound up using as much power as a whole household would for a year.
