He has said he didn't go home last winter break because the quarantine rules would have left him spending the holidays in isolation just to see his family for maybe a couple of days. McLaren said that he spent most of January doing onboarding over web chat/calls, which daniel has said his farm in Perth has terrible internet connection, so he wouldn't have been able to work from there. LA meant he got to spend christmas with his cousin and some close friends and then he was able to work securely from his house.

I haven't seen anything about his plans for this winter break but I do know that the end of the 2021 schedule and the first test week of 2022 are making it the shortest winter break ever. If you combine that with whatever Perth's rules might be, and the pre-season factory work for brand new regulations, I could see him not having time to go home again.

real! just visited his website because I was wondering what was his background, he got some very inspirational merch too, not Lui level inspirational but still
