Girlie.. if there’s one thing about him that I don’t question is that he misses his family. He went to LA in August because it made zero sense to fly to Australia given their current restrictions.

I am sure if given the opportunity, he’l go home in December and return in late Jan/early Feb.

I REALLY hope he does! But I doubt it. We'll have to see what Drama Riccardo does.

This is what I think. Yeah he could go to Aus during the summer break, but all that hassle for like 10 days is maybe not worth it for him. Especially with the seasons he's having. He's been very vocal how that 4 week break of no racing did him very well, I doubt quarantine in a lonely hotel room in Perth wasn't worth the reward of seeing his family for a couple of days, only to go straight back to races.
If he can go home after this season, I've got no doubts he will. Especially because Michael and Blake will want to see their families as well
