Martin Zubimendi (who plays for Sociedad) was set to come to Liverpool then got cold feet and backed out. There may or may not have been a powerpoint done by the Sociedad manager about how nice the mountains and his lifestyle are in the Basque Country to convince him to stay. He binned us off for mountains 😭 We've been trying to fill that defensive midfielder role for years now

Understandable your dislike especially if you don't feel you have filled your dm role.
I still and always will dislike Stoke city 😡
Mainly for the double leg break on Aaron Ramsey but also there is a lot of bad blood between us.

They’re my adopted LaLiga team possibly because of lovely Mikel Oyarzabal, who possibly killed us off in the Euros, and who possibly got red carded last night 😅 (I’ve not seen the play yet so not sure what happened there).

Can’t blame Zubimendi to be fair it does look lovely, although I think we need to be grateful no one thought to pull this PowerPoint on Unai/Arteta/Iraola/Merino before they realised what they were moving over here to 😂

Wonder if we'll get many shocks before transfer window closes

I think my lucks changing as looks like 1 of Mums pension companies have agreed to pay for the funeral. I'm still relying on others to pay my bills so that'd mean I can pay myself. Fingers crossed its here before Oct1st so I can get gas before price goes up lol

aww jesus he's got a lot going on atm hasn't he? Wonder why he has retired when he's still getting first team places?

In regards to the league cup draw last night, isn't is unfair that the CL and Europa league teams had a draw structure (because of the timings of the games) where they couldn't face each other? It was one bowl for them and one bowl for everyone else. So you could argue that the 'top' teams were guaranteed not to face each other.

Well yeah they were guaranteed to not face eachother, because if they had been drawn together there's literally no "free" midweeks for the match to take place before the Round 4 matches are scheduled. There's two international breaks before R4 and the other midweeks are all European match days.

The only other option would be for them to not enter the cup at all, you'd then have some people moaning it's disrespecting the competition by not having the "top" teams enter it
