As an Evertonian I’m genuinely stunned by this! No cackling from me which is surprising but I really always thought they were the perfect fit and he just got everything that comes along with Liverpool Fc, is he in bad health or something as that really is an announcement out of the blue?!

Says he’s running out of energy and can’t do it anymore. I hope it’s not his health per se, and he just wants a break from football in general for a bit. I will be bloody gutted if he goes to another club.

I think he will take time out and then go for a national team job. He won’t go to another PL side.

My fella has met Klopp (and players) a few times through his job and said he’s a horror and dead arrogant - said the only two nice people he’s met from them is Nunez and Allison.

So I for one, as an Everton fan, am delighted to see the back of Klopp lol but it is a shock!

Apparently he informed the club in November. I guess someone got wind and was going to start the rumour.

Quite surprised if he told the club in November that it’s took as long as it has to get out tbh! It’s obvs it was about to get leaked as there’s no way you’d announce this now before the seasons out and in a current cup run! I can’t see Alonso leaving Leverkusen so soon, he’s the only one I would want to replace Klopp though. He’s impossible to replace and I genuinely can’t think of one other manager who will come in now, idk who’s even available?

Besides alonso I really can’t see anyone that could fit at this point in time
