I've just read the Beckham judgment (Beckham & Anor v News Group Newspapers Ltd [2005] EWHC 2252 (QB)) and I don't think it does suggest all that, it sounds like you've just read the defendant's case? Am not defending them but it does sounds like you've just repeated what the newspaper wanted to be found, most of that wasn't proven. The newspaper cast their net way too wide in that case IMO which was a shame as us gossips got nothing out of it.

I only part read it, so your probably right. I read the bit about them arguing and having a strained marriage unlike what they perceive to brands.

I wasn’t trying to miss lead I just skimmed it and found it interesting. Thanks for the correction. I was more trying to refer to how couples can keep up appearances because if not it affects them financially, as above Rio might not have been England captain etc
 
I had my first Girls holiday in Ayia Napa in the Summer of 2000 …. There were 15 of us all 18ish, Friends, friends of friends & the odd random Cousin thrown in for good measure!! Some girls I have known my whole life & still do, some I had never seen before & have rarely seen since apart from the obligatory post Holiday reunion ! I spent two weeks pining for my Boyfriend (now Husband!) back home. There happened to be a large Group of very famous Footballers in the same resort, at the same side, who were hard to ignore due to their behaviour & the daily Football matches on the Beach, just to make sure everyone knew that they were there !! Google it, it will fill you in on the type of behaviour, when we got home we realised that it had actually made front page news over here as their behaviour was that bad! One night there was a constant stream of Girls & Footballlers back & forth to the Nightclub loos to have sex, with the other members of the Group taking photos from over the top of the cubicles.

It was a bloody long time ago, he might well be a different person now as he will have (hopefully) grown up but his behaviour & attitude towards woman was terrible. Complete entitled, arrogant prick. I am fairly confident that at least one of the girls on the infamous video was from the group of Girls that I was with. Another Girl (a close friend at that time) slept with Rio several times during the Holiday & travelled down to see him in London a few times after we got back but his attitude was terrible -said she was lucky to have been chosen ! And very open that he was seeing other girls & I am certain he had an actual Girlfriend at the time who's name was Rebecca …. she also seemed to think that he was seeing / sleeping with Emma Bunton( will I get banned for saying that ?!) . The Holiday romance didn't last long & as far as I am aware there has been no contact since. Everytime I see him on the TV etc, it just reminds of what an absolute cock he was. Especially in his doco about losing his wife which seemed to portray him as some kind of perfect Husband.

No further tea than that really, just commenting that he was an absolute Rat. I'm now off the read the super injunction that was posted, before it is removed !!

Not particularly suprised at this. I wouldn’t go near a footballer with a barge pole unless I didn’t care about their behaviour and was only in it for the money.

Oh my word. I was in Ayia Napa exactly the same time and I remember Dyer, Lampard, Morris and Rio. They were sleazy bastards who attempted to tackle ANY HOLE .....

I remember the night & I am wondering if it was the Spot Club (or maybe that’s the place Dizzy got stabbed). My mate got her photo taken with Lampard and he put his fingers (or attempted too) up her arse. My mate (who is now a lesbian) punched him so hard he tit his pants - he then tried to get us thrown out of the club (I wish I could remember it’s name) but it never happened ...

They were horrible entitled pricks ..... Lampard has really thin skin ? That’s what I remember ....

I can hear the Ayia Napa, Ayia Napa chants .....

FL used to try & put beer bottles up girls bums, I’m pretty certain that might have been on the video that was circulating... delightful !!
 
I live in a building where lots of Premier League footballers have lived & I honestly should’ve written a book about what goes on. From one club & country captains wife staying in the hotel across the road with a PI to catch her hubby out (the windows overlooked) to another bringing a coach load of escorts to celebrate a win on Saturday nights. Their behaviour has always been shocking & disgusting. I was at a wedding Ferdinand was at once & could tell a very interesting story but unfortunately I’d end up in trouble so can’t say but they’re all dogs & the clubs pander to them 🤷🏻‍♀️
 
I suspect it’s an arrangement that suits them both. She gets to live a life she wouldn’t have done otherwise and would have just been another fling had she not played the long game with the kids. By being a part of their lives she knows she’s going to keep him. He gets help with the kids. I’ve no doubt they all care for each other but he was a real tit back in the day and research suggests once a cheat always a cheat

Thanks for mentioning the Posh and Becks one in the first place, I'd never have thought to search for them, there's a funny one involving her walking into a shop and shouting at them that the Becks autographs they were selling were fake, did you see that one too 🤣
