Bizarre that the job at United is one not a lot would want in the footballing world. How the tables have turned! There is an unbelievable amount of work to do there - won't be overnight but like someone said he'll be slaughtered after a few losses. Like you can clear the decks with the players but then you've got a massive rebuild of new players to integrate and set up. It's not an overnight job. Happy to see them win a conference cup or something in the next 10-12 years :sneaky:

As a Liverpool fan and many years of misery, it brings me great joy. Had an interview this am and the hiring manager was a Manc and he said no need for commiserations as he'd revelled in Liverpool's misery for years so I was allowed my moment of pompous gloat :p

I still think managers want this job. ETH will back himself, he will believe in his ability. You had so many roles of the dice until you got Klopp and look at the difference he made. Make no mistake about it he (and his team) are the difference. The manager at a club is more important than ever and is the reason the best 3 teams in the league have the best managers. It’s why conte is in a top 4 position right now when Spurs looked like they would finish 8th.

who ETH brings in with him, how much control he is allowed, who he can sell and bring in will make the difference. If I’m the United board right now I’m telling rangnick to prepare a presentation for him and I’m putting them in a room together. Let ETH have it warts n all and let him have the keys. Lead the way! What direction do you want to take the club.

we need someone to come in and take control. Someone with ideas that are in 2022. We need to stop living in the past, we need to move on and get in the modern way of playing. No more friends FC. No more sentimental BS. The clubs needs the biggest overhaul in football and I’m sure ETH is relishing it. I mean what a challenge he has on his hands, to come to this club that let’s face it, is a sleeping giant right now. He will be given time. The fan base don’t expect miracles right away, all we want to see to start with is a style of play and structure and some passion!

They have to talk about something until the transfer window and they can start saying tit like “oh Messi’s on holiday in Milan…must mean he’s joining AC Milan” 😂

What even happened with the Greece thing in the end. Did he pay or is he like not allowed back. What if Man Utd play a Greek team next season (if the new guy doesn’t sell him)
