Luca Luna is a batshit name but at least both parts of the name sound pretty and are recognised names somewhere. Spike is just horrendous. The poor child.

OMG I thought they were all nicknames!! That’s awful!!! I hate Enzo. I’m Italian and I didn’t give my kids Italian names because my husband is English and the kids were born in England. It does annoy me when non italians use Italian names but it’s very common.
in Italy enzo is usually for old men and it’s just a stupid name.
I hate nick names too. My sister in law calls her daughter Sumsy as a nick name for summer (which I also find totally chav) and it throws me over the edge. Thought it was just my Italian temper adjusting to English family customs.
glad it’s not just me who hates stupid nick names.River sounds ok but it’s very Chav. I wonder if she got it from the tv show Serenity.

My son has a friend called Maverick at school and I thought that was a joke but it’s actually the poor kids name. Someone should be vetting names for kids!
