Bless you that is so sweet. I do have a lovely support system both in real life and on tattle. ❤
He had been unwell for a few years but managed well. He got covid and went down hill gradually over the next few months. So it was expected at some stage but still unexpected that night.

It’s lovely to still count your blessings, but it’s also ok to miss what you had and grieve the loss of your partner of 40 years, what a lovely lifetime together and I would imagine you have so beautiful memories to hold in your heart now he’s gone.
It’s a bit of limbo land that time between losing your loved one and saying goodbye at their celebration 💙

This week has been hard for me but I am getting through it. Looking at going overseas later in the year so that gives me something to plan and look forward to.
And a friend is coming to stay for Easter (I live in a touristy area) so that will be nice too.
