Favourite Perfumes #4

I hankered after Glossier You for quite a while and I blind bought it, not overly bothered by it to be honest...

I did try out Jo Loves Amber , lime and bergamot. absolutely loved it and will definitely be buying one soon..
Glossier you is nice I think but it's very delicate and doesn't last.

I've tried the samples I got recently and here's my review:

Initio- musk therapy - I like it, though there's something strange about it, guess it's the musk haha (weird eh🤣). It does turn really sweet on me.

Victoria Beckham 21:50 Reviere- meh not a huge fan. Very vanilla but also find it quite masculine.

Mancera wild fruits - does smell very like wild fruits especially initially but in an artificial way, reminds me of zoflora or some other cleaning spray 😅 not a huge fan

Mancera - instant crush- I liked this one before when I had a sample but on this try I'm over it. It's like a more masculine Baccarat rouge to me

Ex nihilo - french affair - omg it's extremely long lasting. People say in reviews it smells like woodland walk and moss. To me it smells like mushrooms haha so fits with the theme. I wouldn't buy it.

Mancera - red tobacco- again reviews have it as a very masculine smell which I can see why as there's a lot of tobacco smell but then it turns really sweet vanilla on me so I don't find it that masculine at all. I like it thought it's a bit too much at times and lasts for ages. One or two sprays of that is enough. Good for those who like very heavy fragrance

Maison crivelli hibiscus mahajad - I love this, new favourite perfume. Ordered a full bottle 😅 it's extremely long lasting. I sprayed it on the inside of my elbow one morning, went for a run that day, had a shower and could still smell it the next day.

I also got a free sample with my order which was laboratorio olfativo arancia Rossa and thought it's really nice and refreshing, nice summer smell. To me it smells like sparkling blood orange San Pellegrino 😅

I was looking at Hibiscus Mahajad on Fragrantica yesterday 😂. Most of my perfumes are skin scents and I want something that projects a bit more. Would you say that it does (as well as being long lasting)?

I think it does but I need to try it more and I find projection quite hard to judge yourself if you're wearing the fragrance 😅 But whenever I moved I could smell it around me so I guess? Definitely try it first I'd say. Fragrance samples have 20% off everything for black Friday I'm pretty sure!

I am on it! Hopefully the samples come before black Friday 👀

I am intrigued by your description of the ex nihilo frag . It’s going on the samples to try list lol

Has anyone tried and liked any of the Charlotte Tilbury fragrance please ? I wouldn't mind trying a couple of the little purse sprays.

I’m in the states a lot and always got to Sephora 😍 when I’m out there.

Glossier is a big deal out there and I’ve tried Glossier you so many times and it smells of nothing to me, I don’t know if it’s my nose or it’s just great marketing but I don’t get the hype.

I have tried two newish perfumes
Si intense and good girl blush elixir and don’t know which one I should get???
I want a nice Christmassy, sexy scent .

I went on a bit of a spree over Black Friday 👀. I picked up Gucci Bloom from Vinted, and bought Diptyque Orpheon with a 15% discount (and used topcashback to get some money back) and also Dolce and Gabbana The Only One Intense from Escentual for half price or so (it is a bit similar to my all time fave Rouge Malachite, except for instead of a balsamic ambery base you have vanilla and coconut.)

I am also thinking of The Noir 29 by Le Labo but I'm not sure if there's a note in there that makes me nauseous. I felt a bit off all weekend while testing it so I might give it a bit longer to see if it is the perfume or i was just under the weather.

I'm usually a white floral girly through and through so Orpheon and The Noir 19 are quite different. Having bought so many all of a sudden I am feeling the urge to declutter some perfumes I have in my collection that aren't getting so much use (and also it makes me feel less bad for splurging if I make some money back).

How often do you declutter your collection and how do you decide what to declutter?

I bought Maison margiela “by the fireplace” and it is GORGEOUS 😍 I love a good “warm” fragrance…anyone tried it?

I tried this over the weekend too and really like it, I think it's a nice autumn / winter scent and quite unique.

I was in M&S today and tried the two limited editions they have, one was Frosted Vanilla and the other was Warm Fig. I liked them both, but I'm not good at describing.
Has anyone else tried them?
The Warm Fig transported me back in time, it's definitely a scent I've worn before. I think it's the same as a perfume M&S had before, I think it was called Isis? Do they still do Isis?

That one might have had a rebrand and new name 😂
