I have a few mates who went down the Invisalign route too. Mixed reception because it’s not just a quick fix it can take years and then you have to wear a retainer to ensure you keep them in tip top condition. Many just don’t wear them if we are away or eating out and decide that’s the few hours they aren’t going to be bound by them, which I think is pretty good. I do have friends who at the age of 45-55 have gone full tram tracks with braces, which looks a bit odd, but when we were kids only the really weird kids had braces, whereas now they are as normal and sort after as a pair of Pods/ Adidas were when I was a teenager (2 of mine had the full works - 3rd has teeth like a ducking horror show - still has some of his milk teeth age 20 but wouldn’t deal with them when he could because he’s a little twit), so you’re actually mid to late 40s before you’ve got the $ or time to actually think about your own fucked up teeth. Self care wasn’t really our gig but I glean from the younger generations that it’s essential, not a knock, I wish I’d have taken more care of me when I was younger.Exactly my thinking, Invisalign sorts out your own teeth rather than wrecking them and adding fake bits like veneers does!
Soz for babbling...alcohol and dodgy teeth involved I’m on holiday so don’t judge me for drinking it’s 7.17 here
