He really is a self absorbed twit with no common sense And an apparent sense of greed. He must actually have quite a lonely life that he puts so much effort into Instagram, I can picture him walking around the house, looking in desperation for inspiration for his interiors account. He knows he’s onto a winner with shots of a bed with cushions - gets women cooing that they, just like Clemmie, love a perfectly made bed and their own partners dislike the cushions too. These Women seem to think they have joined the Hoopers in some sort of an elite club.
When he made his return to Instagram, initially he didn’t feature his daughters, quickly realised no one was interested without them. So in order to try curtail the follower losses, they were featured again very quickly. Though don’t think he has yet realised the appeal of his family is over - the whole going anywhere with four kids has run out of steam as the older girl goes with them less and less. The twins are now older and the cuteness appeal is over and they are too old now for him to be staging shots of them climbing presses, emptying out presses, lying on the path and so on.
You can smell the desperation to get some big paid ad, he tried very hard before Christmas tagging google home with his doorbell/lpress a buttom And switch in/off lamps but looks like (hopefully), nothing came on it. When he was talking about plans for his utility room, he mentioned putting in underfloor heating -,hint, hint. Who actually puts underfloor heating into a utility room when all the other rooms have the standard gas or oil heating/radiators.
I’m sure they are still sent bits from interior companies and publishers, but a far cry from the days of the well paid advertisements and gifted holidays and so on. His days of being featured in the press in a positive way are gone. By next year, his bathrooms will be dated, everyone will have to moved on to the next must have tile or fittings trend, the rest of the house is drab and dull, so not sure where he can take the interiors account.
