Her miraculous recovery has started....no more dialysis....to go from needing a transplant to functioning in the space of a few weeks is crazy...

If she's got that it's not a good prognosis.

She's lied so much I still expect some miraculous recovery though.

It’s really not looking so good for her is it? Surely she’s not actually lying about something so awful? I wouldn’t put it past her of course but this seems very extreme

Yeah I don't think she's lying. Maybe exaggerating. Noone will ever know though. But if she's not and is for once been truthful it's sad.

She repeatedly said she didn't think she'd make it to 30. But now diagnosed with something that could take her before her next birthday

My guess would be her kidneys started failing due to her alcoholism, and from there she's developed this. From what I've read, kidney failure, obesity, and diabetes are the risk factors

Her latest stories are interesting. I can’t tell if she understands how ill she is. She says she isn’t googling - but surely a responsible doctor would be telling her how serious it is (if she does indeed have the condition). It’s all just horrible.

ETA Also, is it normal that she seems to be getting no answers from the hospital? I know sometimes with doctors you have to really probe for information but this seems extreme…
