I think he does the shopping at Daylesford and oversees the schedule of the cleaning crews who turn the place over each time. If something breaks, he makes the calls for a professional to fix it. I think the woman who works for Josie might even help out with answering questions and other admin tasks. Basically, he is managing what other people are doing for him. How often are they even booked? A few times per week or a few times per month?

Where I live, you can start in real estate with no formal education or experience. They train you for a license which doesn’t take long and what you earn depends on your clientele. It’s all about who you know, not what you know. Charlie could definitely leverage Josie’s audience into landing plenty of listings. I think this would be great for him…even if he only sold a few properties per year.

How do the British pronounce tortoise? I laugh every time I hear Josie say “tour-toy.” There are a lot of others (bra-zee-ay for brassiere) but if anyone has an answer... lol

I am on about the white with blue and green flowers Erdem maxi she wore to cook and garden in much later in the vlog . It was priced at about £1000 a year ago . Leonora has the same dress and Leonora’s mum has the same dress but in a hard to describe chartreuse type green. I’ll see if I can find a photo of it

They are selling their product as a hotel on hotel prices which it isn’t. It’s a rip off. Also if I’m going to pay for three days at the price of over £1000 I’ll go abroad. At least abroad I have freedom there I will have him irritating and condescending on how to look after their kitchen knives, the history of the rendered walls or whatever he thinks the paying guest needs to be verbally waterboarded with. I don’t want that I want to enjo myself feel relaxed and be trusted by the host that as an adult I can have the initiative to research myself the area, locale and attractions and when I leave the place will be as I found it. I will not be paying an additional cleaning fee that I think is a liberty given the exorbudant rates already. That should be included into the price. I’m also not paying for that places PR fees within Air BnB I might be less financially off from them and not have family money to act so cavalier with but I’m not a mug

I’m also waiting for somebody to report them to Trading Standards because Adderbury is not in the Cotswolds nor is Lower Brailes as Josie and Charlie keep insisting. It’s not far from the Cotswolds but it isn’t in it. You cannot mislead your paying guests to a product that is misrepresented. That’s likely why they are getting cancellations because people don’t want to waste their money on a product they think is one thing but after doing due diligence actually is another. Nobody likes being lied to

I believe brailes is in the Cotswolds - only just hence why it’s not as pricey as say Kingham .

adderbury though can’t be so yes good idea that it could attract trading standards .

In ems vlog chav was annoyed to be called chargrill Charlie 😂. Again he was droning on and lecturing the girls in that vlog. He is a rent a gob !

Brailes falls under Warwickshire council and the prices are so much lower . Lots of bang for the buck in brailes
 
She always says they are fully booked, then pops up with all these cancellations. Oh please. I call bull. Those 22 reviews are all Chaz…which is why he is just so very tired all the time. Between that and talking to himself on every IG account they have the poor thing could never have a job! 🤣

I agree, also the Cottage doesn't accommodate everyone only couples or families with one child as it is so small. I wonder how much the Daylesford holiday rentals are a night?
 
I seem to recall that she wasn't thrilled to have children stay at their precious cottage(s) ..she preferred couples and of course dogs are allowed. I know she hinted this in one of her vlogs....anyway I think that Strawtop 2 was a mistake...

I understand the policy on no children. Not all parents teach their children how to respect other people’s homes. Sorry to say but that is true there are many others obviously that do and mine certainly were taught when we went on holiday to be respectful to their surroundings but it’s a big risk and given how pokey that cottage is I’d be concerned from a safety perspective if a child tried using those stairs that is a nasty accident for an adult let alone a child.
