He has muscled in SO much on her business . He is dominating this vlog and like already said it’s all “we” . The royal “we” having done nothing himself to get her where she is. Heck, he’s probably held her back more than anything

They mention the Aga and the worktops need doing. They said previously there was a new Aga incoming . I can only guess either they think going all electric won’t suit them because they are on oil and that is a good deal I’d say or they found out they weren’t actually getting what they wanted out of aga. Maybe aga would only do the small two oven when they need the 4 door oven …

Same he’s/they’re nothing special in person!

Saw them at Daylesford and then walking near Chastleton. Hubby actually spotted/heard them first as sometimes I play her videos to annoy him. He said look, there’s our favourite Cotswold pals!
 
I’ve got friends who are members of the club. They bought a holiday home about 17 yrs ago in south Cotswolds and are now looking to move north.

I’ve never discussed Josie with my friend but my friend follows her and likes her posts 😂. They are looking to move close to daylesford. I have had this discussion with my friend and she said it’s because of the food/daylesford .

It’s not all nice though . Parts of chipping Norton are the pits ! Parts of Moreton in marsh aren’t great nor is shipston in parts . there has to be perspective with my comments, I’m not saying it’s like the roughest parts of major uk cities. I’m just saying it’s not all rose covered cottages .

Chav said property around adderbury has “gone up a lot in the past couple of years” . What is he on about?! Bollocks chav. He clearly hasn’t tried to sell a house in the current climate. Redrow and Barrett’s are giving people money to pay half the stamp duty, they are throwing in extras like flooring , I’ve seen a Redrow style house reduced from 933k to 843k with the aforementioned benefits thrown in! That is enough of a sign as to how the last two years has gone in property.

Property market halted two years ago when the financial crisis started . Yes some sales are happening but most are bottom of the market sales and people are having to reduce to shift a house. There is a lot of property on the market right now . Chav shut up!!!

Chav goes on about advising the 19yo pt (well she hasn’t got much experience in the fitness industry at that age has she - I personally wouldn’t want someone so inexperienced), to move to London enjoy it then move out to the countryside when the time is right , he mentioned the lakes or Cotswolds.

I think it’s fair to say that even though chav thinks he’s moved to the sticks, he really hasn’t . You can’t compare Cotswolds to the lakes!. The facilities for a young couple are nothing like those in the Cotswolds. You will struggle to find the fancy, bouquet options . At weekends daylesford is full of Londoners , it’s a glorified version of the countryside with a lot to offer , it isn’t proper in the sticks rural living .

Every single sentence out of Josie's mouth warrants a debate from Charlie on why she is wrong. He is utterly exhausting. As is her snobbery.
For so many more reasons, they are a very unlikeable couple.

She says their part of the Cotswolds used to not be the coolest part of the Cotswolds. 😂 It wasn't typically the most desirable part but now people are cottoning onto the fact that where they are is the best part.

Wow, they get someone to mow their lawn 😳? What exactly does Charlie do? They have a housekeeper who does the housework and even sorts the massive influx of parcels, they have Chloe who does the admin work for Josie’s business, they have gardeners, they have cleaners for Straw-top and Josie does all the filming and editing. They take an unusually long time to renovate holiday cottages and use people to do things like even the painting (that Charlie could do) so his time isn’t taken up there. I’m so intrigued with Charlie’s day to day life. Is this why Josie sometimes says things like “Charlie has gone to Daylesford, I think, I’m not quite sure where he is”, as if she is also fed up of him not pulling his weight, just galavanting around with her credit card. He doesn’t do classes or play rugby at the moment. He doesn’t seem to go to a gym as they have one at home and he doesn’t even cook as Josie is always making her own breakfast (he’ll do a roast every other weekend, only during winter). What does he do for 16 hours everyday that means he hasn’t got time to mow the lawn?
 
The English countryside looks absolutely beautiful but I don’t think it appears much different than certain parts of where I’m from in Pennsylvania (I am from the city but spend time traveling in the country). The same rolling hills and farmland. The architecture of the Cotswolds is the big draw for me but she barely features it. It actually seems rather boring where they live. It’s charming but not a lot going on for younger people.

The smugness on Josie’s face and Charlie’s voice within this video is astounding.

“There are rooms in this house that we don’t go in for a month but thanks to my housekeeper, I’m not afraid of spiders.” -Josie

“I don’t know anyone that works 9-5.” -Josie

These two are not deserving of their lifestyle. It’s actually really a disgrace that they have had so many blessings.

I too was really surprised re the 9-5 comment!.

The people working for them will at least do those hours , if not for Josie then for Josie plus their other clients .

Whilst chloe can lead a damn good class (even if her voice is very loud )…. I fail to see what Josie brings to this other than her audience might book it if they are able to on a working Monday!.

She can’t arrange flowers , she has no floral qualification , whilst she is used to talking to a camera , is she really used to having 20 or so blank faces stare at her whilst she tries to give her tips on how to flower arrange?. Public speaking can be harder than originally thought when everyone’s eyes are on you , waiting and anticipating .

The walk is a loop of the flower beds and possibly the veg patches/polytunnels. Chloe could lead that by herself , you just follow the leader around , they have a big wooden swing part way to have a go on 😂

Josie just isn’t bringing much to this .

😂 this comment. There’s some other comments about people wishing chav would let her answer more questions and people pointing out he is talking over her .

A pub would be a disaster . Whilst Lydia is copying a fair bit from Josie, Josie and chav seem to be channelling baroness Bamford if they think they can run a pub.

Can you imagine what a loss maker their pub would be?. The poshest of loo fittings , the best most niche organic alcoholic and non alcoholic offerings and grass fed meals on the menu barely making money . It would be a disaster .

Charlie is going to spearhead a pub and run them into debt. Then he will start drinking again and run off with a barmaid. The way he talked about not wanting to lose his “19-year-old personal trainer” was…interesting.

SK talks about Josie’s career as an influencer as if he is directly involved. “Our meetings. Our partners. We. Us.” I respect that they are married and consider everything a team, but get a grip. Charlie is featured in the vlogs, manages the house (or at least the staff), and helps with the house IG and the cottage rentals…he does more than it looks like. But the YouTube channel and the bulk of Josie’s success is hers.
 
Given how many subscribers she has their must be people from Banbury watching her 😂

They aren’t very diplomatic . Dealing with brands etc, maybe some brands/pr people live in Banbury

someone’s commented under her vlog about there being a lot of new builds in the Cotswolds these days
