C&A is waaay better than H&M regarding materials. I only wear natural fibres apart from workout clothes and rain jackets and can't understand that anyone would pay more than 20 euro for polyester tat, regardless of who designed it. Imagine how bad the influenzas must smell after wearing that! No wonder they need 1L reed diffusers 😝😝

I agree. When you see the furniture that the previous owner left them/sold them (whatever Josie 🙄🙄) that was the idea he was going for.
Period in style but modern in fabrics and colour.
He nailed the kitchen its modern, light and contemporary but totally in keeping with the house.
She could mix modern and antique and make it work but she has a real aversion to antiques.
Everytime, she buys an antique it disappears again.
As someone else said, she wants a modern suburban home in an historical building. She wants to be the same as Lydia and inthefrow.

Charlie said somewhere - I think in their Q&A - that there was so little of the original structure left that their house is in effect a new build inside a framework of stone. Exterior stone work was still standing, and timbers and some panelling, but everything else, including interior walls, new panelling, staircases etc etc is clearly MODERN, done to reproduce the original style yes, but essentially a modern rebuild!
 
Josie's current tree is a disappointment. I know she wanted it to shoot content but she could have made a better job decorating and concealing the light cable. Not professional at all. 🙄 The ornaments she got is a mixture of some nice ones with some horrendous and tacky ones like the glittery moon. I am ok with some glitter here and there at Christmas but that is too cheap looking😜

I wish "Happy Halloween" to those who celebrate it. Let's all hope that next year things are going to be a lot better. 🙏

I think it’s Charlie’s office. Somehow they’ve gotten all mixed up with furnishing this house and garden like it’s either glitter Versailles or a falling down barn.
 
Ok where do I start? The green is not a military style green Josephine. On the face of it it’s green however once you put in the chair (which is beautiful) then you see it’s yellow based green which clashes awfully with the emerald green of the chair. The walls are too warm you would need a colder green to make the chair work. Also make up your mind, in another vlog you blamed the owner now it’s the tenants fault. Stop sullying people like that. You don’t like it when it’s done to you so don’t do it to them. Also a lockdown is nigh I doubt the lights will be fitted.

i wish she would educate herself in colour theory. Either everything is beige or light pink or tit like this. Does she try to hide the chair?
