Come to think of it, it had gold seashell accessories like wall mounted soap dishes, toilet roll holder and mirror.
We went with the tackiness and had an inflatable pink flamingo as decor.😂

I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. I can’t watch the likes of Zoella any more, as she is not growing up. Her content is very juvenile, which is fine. It’s just not for me. I did a lot of growing in my twenties - I was arrogant and self-centred, and now I am a much better person. It seems that Freddy and Josie haven’t managed to do that. I think that’s ones of the perils of ‘growing up’ online, especially with an army of fans who won’t pull you into line. They have no idea of how the real world works. Charlie, on the other hand, I think he does.

When my obsession with Josie and her house manifested itself at the start of lockdown, it became a joke in our house.
We had some chats about it. My daughters used to watch Freddy, Zoella, Tanya Burr, Sophdoesnails(?) Etc..
Now they watch nobody. They said nobody in their social groups do. They will search if they want specific tips but that's it.
It appears to be the pre-teens and then mid-20's up who watch YT actively.
I know this has no basis in science because it is only one social group and there will be exceptions but if there is a general trend, I wonder is that why some stop growing up and continue to behave much younger and why others grow up too fast (Josie) to appeal to their older viewers?
They are very aware of trends and their demographics.
 
As a Spanish speaker I hater her pronunciation. I don’t mind people making mistakes when pronouncing new words or when learning a language because I’m not a native English speaker and my English is not perfect but when she butchers Spanish and Italian just because she’s so Snobbish and likes to think she’s better than anyone ,it really grinds my gears! 😡 😡 😖 😠

Lots of young children seem to love YouTube, like watching people gaming and make up videos etc. My friend has a little girl who’s 8. She asked for YouTube kit for her birthday! My friend just got this little light thats on the desk and she does pretend videos. I don’t know 🤷🏽‍♀️ is it concerning that such young children watch YouTube and want to be an “influencer” 🥴

If I had a little girl I sure as heck wouldn’t want her watching the fool that is Josie 🥴 rolling about in fields in straw hats. And just generally not working hard and scrounging for things. No thanks.

See Josie...we are not all trolls and haters ! A nice friend has posted these wonderful things for you to see...so perfect for your bathroom, or one of your bathrooms I should say....do let us know when you are going to unbox them...we love to hear your squeals of delight.
