Pet peeve here.

Am I the only one who just dislikes the furniture she’s buying for this house? To be fair, I don’t like the house much. Pretty garden and beautiful area. But it reminds me of the old church and outer building we were taken to as kids in primary school for Christmas prayer. It looks so cold and unwelcoming. Wooden flooring and old roof tops. It doesn’t scream cosy to me.

If I was going to buy a big house with that type of money I’d make sure it’s a bit more modern than this at least. Make it pretty and chic and welcoming. Think realistically not buy a daft gramma phone just to collect dust. Pointless. Just buy an Apple sound station and call it a bloody day. It’s not 1820.

And that attic with the green bed... I was legit getting flowers in the attic vibes. Imagine, when they finally have kids, locking them in there and dishing out a slice of bread and water if they’re bad. 😂 “The Attic” will be the new Boogeyman.

And all this green... I don’t like it. At all.

Don’t get me going about their gold bedroom.

Their old house was so much nicer. Honest to god.
I love the house, it's the history, age and the original features that makes them chic and incredibly expensive. It's why the very rich and very famous want to buy them.
Josie got hers for a bargain because its attached to a chapel.
I live in a really old house and couldn't live in a new build but can see the appeal.

I like 3 or 4 pieces of furniture she has but don't like where she has put them or how she styles them.

Is she doing her giveaway on Instagram so that she gets more followers over there? Is she being sneaky and devious....our Josie...never!?!?
More and more are moving to IGTV and doing less on YT.

She said it was glitchy or causing problems. “Sure Jan, sure” lol

Alright,
I actually just had a chance to watch today’s vlog.
What a SNOOZE fest 😴

Her comment section is pretty much calling her our. 😂

Yes Josie, I called you a liar on Twitter Darling. I must be one of the 3 people who called you out but in reality it’s probably like 20+ as you delete the comments that aren’t to your liking. Plus not all 60K people comment as many watch it on their TV screens not phones or computers.

My favorite comments before they get deleted

I actually don't think the area is a pretty as it's made out to be, you know she doesn't live in Chipping Norton or Charlbury Cotswolds... she lives in Banbury (no offence) but it isn't the height of glamour in Oxfordshire/Warwickshire or The Cotswolds.

And although her garden is lovely, the other side of her plot is a mess with a muddy parking area and a few ugly new builds nearby 🥴.

She does not live in Banbury she lives in a small village - just so that I do not get a warning - remember her last video going to lunch at The Kitchen - google The Kitchen restaurant and golfing (she said it was attached to a golf course), and then google her embroidered TOR the old rectory and you will find the village she lives in where they walk to get farmers eggs and go to the butcher and get pizza on friday nights...It looks pretty BUT it also got flooded out 2 or 3 years ago

Yep, her house is situated on a small road at the end of this village.

The front part of her plot isn't nearly as pretty as the back, so that's why she isn't showing it.

No to delivery costs for one of the 4,156 items she will have delivered next week or paying £40 for the charlotte tilbury palette she wanted so bad...

But yes to £18 fish and chips or £7 truffle fries

Soho house darlings.

Wonder how many pillows she will vlog about whilst there, complain about the price and sew her own at home to 'get that soho home look' 😂

#supportlocal
#shopAtIndependents 😂

So after finishing her latest vlog, Amelia Liana’s latest came up on my autoplay and she is giving away a £1k + Prada bag. I think the actual giveaway is on insta but she’s advertising it pretty comprehensively on YT. Meanwhile on Josie’s channel, it’s “here’s a CT magic cream that breaks me out! Buy my haul rejects via Google Drive! I’m not allowed to do giveaways on YT!”

On the same note, she has been an influencer for years and shills her understanding of “social networks” as a key skill on LinkedIn and yet she “didn’t know” she could control ads via her monetisation settings. Sure Josie!

I also think she has been contacted by the regulator about some of the advertising disclosure issues and is getting paranoid about how she presents, which is why we have had the whole talk about how she references gifted products and now this ad settings diatribe in such quick succession.

She might also be worried that the veil will be lifted and her sheeple will see that the Empress has no clothes on 😉.

And of course the last word, she has to have it 🙄.

I really hope she was contacted by the regulator .About time.
She seems to live in her own little bubble and pretends to not notice anything that WE notice :(

Ate lunch at Soho House and states she is struggling to finish the mac and cheese - lol = as if. I personally don't get the Soho House thing - who cares? I would have been more impressed if she had gone down to the local butcher and interviewed him/her for advice on how to cook meat and why etc. At least it would have been local and provide knowledge etc

Ah but you never know who will be at Soho House when you are...and for J and C that is important..to be seen and hopefully to be seen with a VIP .
The other day she posted that she had seen David Beckham a few times...how and where ? During the Lockdown ??

No I know exactly where her village is but it's in the region of Banbury, I grew up in Oxon and vaguely know the area, all I was saying is it aint nothing to ride home about versus Chipping Norton/Charlbury/Stow on the Wold/ Moreton in Marsh/Bourton on the Water

The strange thing about her a Soho House is the few times i've been they have a very strict no camera policy within the houses, so other than her saying and maybe the odd hidden photo it really isn't much to gloat about.

Soho House is actually good fun in London if you know a member, for a couple of drinks because the houses are actually nice to sit in etc. But it's not something to be proud of being a member as it's pricey
