The hardest part (I say that lightly) is editing the video and getting it up by 5pm but she has been doing this for years so it can't be that challenging.

To be honest it seems like she is just putting clips together, maybe doing 1 or 2 time lapses and hopping for the best. The other day she left the clip of the camera inside her pocket (when she was talking to the gardener’s dog) that she didn’t know it was still filming. She doesn’t even take a picture for the thumbnail. So lazy

I hated that she left the bit with the gardener’s dog in - having to hear her shout in a high, squeaky voice “Oh, I’m being attacked, I’m being attacked!” was nauseating.

You can tell she’s pretty small time on YT as she’s actually able to keep her comments section pretty clean all full of people blowing smoke up her.
If she had millions of subscribers and was truely busy making the big bucks she wouldn’t have time to be sitting trawling through comments constantly and wouldn’t even care as she’d be too busy making money and filming/editing etc .

I think that was said simply to appear as though she’s earning big when the reality is perhaps far from it. Half the people commenting the last few nights have been saying no hauls, and that they can’t afford to buy clothes, they skip the ads, they just watch for escapism but don’t buy etc etc. I’m not criticising that in the slightest but it means she’s not earning if they aren’t buying.

I never used to noticed or bother much but since the new work done her teeth are so odd she’s constantly smacking her lips, sucking back in spit, and doing this weird lip movement to basically put her teeth back in her mouth all the drool makes me feel rather sick. YES TRUE! But there is a lack of a paper trail what with her doing it from Google Docs as opposed to Depop.. the irony when she said I'm not going to be selling much so I just thought I would do it on Google Docs and proceeds to dump about 50 items on the floor

This comment is encouraging her viewers to skip the ads entirely. Surely that would damage her revenue?!

Someone posted a comment on her YT vlog yesterday saying she should do more giveaways. Someone else replied 'Josie doesn't give anything away but I've heard she sells gifted items on Ebay ' not sure if comment deleted. Today's vlog she states she isnt allowed to do You Tube giveaways so will give the pot of Charlotte Tilbury cream away on her IG . She says this is only Charlotte T product she doesn't like as makes her skin nasty and oily. Well thanks a zillion Josie, which of your lucky viewers would like nasty, oily skin. Why doesn't she giveaway the entire box of goodies as a goodwill gesture ? Greedy Josie wants to keep all goodies to herself.

Absolutely agree. So finally she is "giving away" one pot of CT cream she didn't even have to buy? Give away something you had to buy yourself, Josie, as a gesture of goodwill towards your viewers. Your so called "give-away" is insulting.

If she did more giveaways maybe her accountant would let her claim it as a charitable contribution and then her high tax bill will decrease

Very true and if she had that many subscribers she could just employ an assistant to do the dirty work of uploading the videos then trawling the comments so she wouldn't have to see anything negative.

She seems to average 300 comments per vlog, surely there would be far more if she really did have 584,000 subscribers? Lydia has about 890,000 subscribers and the (few vlogs of hers I could stomach) seemed to always get about 3.000 comments. Can anyone comment how many comments a UK vlog would generate in proportion to subscribers on average? Even with Josie deleting negative comments surely there would be far more especially given more people are viewing in lockdown ?

That is why I could never envy her as hoarding is a serious illness. I'd love if they were able to give away 90 per cent of their clutter, it makes life so much easier !. Owning so much takes time, maintenance, energy, money. Constantly needing to acquire new things must be exhausting.
