I just realized that McLaren said they would favour Lando from now on but yet didn't put him in the best position for quali 😔 We know track évolution in baku is important but you also know that there is a big chance for a yellow/red flag. So why did they wait to the last minute and put in behind Oscar? The only reason you could do that is to give him a tow but i don't think anyone did that today.

Anyway i went shopping to lift up my mood and came back home with 4 new plants (my shops was doing a buy 2 get 1 for free and i couldn't resist 😅)

i don’t even know what else to say about mclaren’s mixed messages tbh. there’s a strong possibility that charles could only be single figure points beyond lando on monday and they again only have themselves to blame.

Agree 100% i really don't know what to think about McLaren anymore. They seem to change their mind every 2 minutes. But hey at least it will save me for hoping and hoping only to be heartbroken because Lando lose for 5 points in Abu Dhabi 😂
If McLaren end up losing the WCC i can imagine some sponsors and the shareholders will not be happy with that and have some strong words with Zak. They have the best car (not always the fastest but it can adapt well on almost every tracks) but they are acting like an amateur team at the moment.
I am mostly annoyed at how everyone is pilling on Lando for "cracking under pressure", Oscar being "so much better than Lando" and not giving any context as to why he is p17 when it was not his fault (yes he made the mistake at turn 16 but i think it would have still be enough to go to Q2)

Some Phryges to make me feel better (today there is the celebration of the end of the Olympics and Paralympics games in Paris on the Champs Elysees). I love the Léon Marchand one 😂

i love phryge so much. they should just be paris’ official mascot for all time now 🥹
 
Totally missed qualifying as I had some errands to run and totally forgot the earlier timing 😔 but at least my sunglasses are fixed (i hate limited hours of shops and specially if they are out of the way ) and I came home with 20 kg of tomatos

So couldn’t McLaren use that position to change anything with a 10 place grid penalty or is that too late? And how can Williams totally forgot the cooling part and not realize that earlier 🤔

But the Rockies did well !

Mack Wibber has just told Sharl on C4 if he gets a good result 2moro he can move up to second in WDC! He’d have to win & Lando no points but can’t believe it’s a possibility! McLaren have effed up not sorting this earlier!

Update- Macks just thrown his support behind Lando saying the yellow was odd and Steve Jones has called Baku ‘very flaggy’ Couldn't think of a better description! 🤣
