Why do i feel like the worst host daughter in the history right now, walked over to the hotel of my American host parents, and because I had not heard a single word for hours, I got the woman down at the desk to ring up to the room to see if they are in. They were asleep when we called. (They've been in Europe for two weeks now, jetlag isn't a thing for them anymore😂).

So while they are waking up and putting on something more decent, I'm on a mission to find a pub and a pint. I found a place where there are two dogs, I'm staying here 😂

LOL Rory the golfer can go duck himself, I will not be cheering him up - I recently read he did not tell his wife of 7 years (with kid) that he is planning to divorce her and sent someone to give her divorce papers. Talk about chivalry and basic human sensivity.

I could cheer Anthony Joshua up though
(I don't know too much about him, so knowing my luck it will turn out he is problematic too, like most famous athletes, but I will just look at him for one more minute before I start searching this :ROFLMAO:)

Rory the golfer with a face like a melted boot has some audacity treating the women in his life the way he does. He ended his first engagement just DAYS after they sent the invites out, couldn't have done it beforehand the twit

I am in the country, and compared to what I have been staying at when I've been here before, this place is like living at the Bridgerton house 😂

Can't wait for Saturday! 🤩 And I can't wait to show the Americans around in London tomorrow, so far today I've learned them how to navigate the tube - ish, with my help. And I haven't been here in years, so I've had my moments today, but I've gotten to the places I need to be😂

Any hidden sights or places to go that anyone recommend taking them too?

I was thinking yesterday, it's crazy to see the trajectory change between Alpine and McLaren. Like they were both a solid top midfield team 2 years ago and now their situation couldn't be more different.
McLaren struggled at the beggining of last season but was really honest about it since the launch of the car. Then they changed their organisation, letting some guys go, hiring others.. And then they bring their upgrade and jump into the top 3 and never leave it since then.
Alpine is like the total opposite. Start last season as the clear 4th team, had a podium in Monaco. And out of nowhere Rossi begin to talk bad about the team. Then they were this whole disaster of firing half your team in the middle of the weekend to put a guy, who clearly has no competences in management, as your team principal, but without hiring anyone new. Then come 2024 and all the "the car is COMPLETELY different from last season, we only kept the steering wheel" and blablabla only to end up dead last in Bahrain. And now Esteban will go at the end of the season and Pierre is also looking for a seat elsewhere. So they will have no driver, no engineer and a TP who think yelling live on TV makes him look like someone who has the power and is in control of his team 🙄 And the whole post about parting ways with Esteban has been posted yesterday to mak it look like it was a sanction for Monaco when everyone know he would have leave anyway but this is their only way to spin the narrative from "our driver leave the team because he has no faith in us" to "look at strong we are, no driver is greater than the team so we choose to let him go" 😅
 
After loosing my credit card in Lisbon about a month ago, I though I had upgraded the details everywhere to my new card. Completely forgot about F1TV, and I got notified about it today when they tried taking the money from my card. I am not able to put in my card details or anything, because my adress isn't valid. I am not sure if this is because I am on British soil (even when I use only data - which is supposed to not geoblock me and go via Norway).

Guess I'm just going to see if there is somewhere that will show the FPs then 😂 I'm not missing out on groundhog-bonanaza! 🤩😂

Welcome to my country where:
• F1TV isn’t available to the same extent that it is in other countries
• Sky Sports/Now TV have become greedy, bought out the broadcasting rights to pretty much all the sports you want to watch, but they cost too much, and then you have to pay extra just for 4k viewing
• Pubs and bars only seem to show football or boxing
• We’ve already had our annual one day of summer
… and then you understand why we’re so depressed and miserable 🙃

Omg what was he thinking when he wrote that? "I have not seen a single death threat" so if you see it it doesn't exist ?? "I constantly receive abuse and hate and I have learned to live with it"?!?! He is serious?
Jésus why is McLaren doing a partnership with a team like that ? I hope they will drop them. Canapino is liking tweets mocking Theo and encouraging hate against him and the owner called him "the son of a thousand witches" on the radio on Sunday... But it's not that bad because they are PaSsIoNaTe 🤬
