Such a long night for Gemma. She won’t want to chat to any of them. I bet either she’ll go to bed early (like be in bed by now) or she’ll have her mum with her to hang with.
To be fair Dami and Indyiah aside I don't know if I could be arsed with many of them either 🤣 and I'm not overly fussed on Dami. A few Casa Amor rejects and Danica from HR. 🤣

Tell I lie I reckon Deji would be good craic on a night out.

Basically she’s got so much pain in her eyes and looks like she will cry 😢 💔🥺
Sure I went for a look. Eyes rolled outta my head!

I did think she looked a bit teary at the very start (could have watery eyes for any number of reasons) but she composed herself quickly and it was a well rehersed answer. She didn't attend and not expect that to come up.

They need to catch a grip even if she did look upset that's normal after a break up it doesn't mean there's a big reunion pending. I know their stans are quite young but it's actually not right the way they go on.

I think the article may have at least an element of truth in it but I've noticed Simon Boyle seems to absolutely hate Maura. I noticed this since she left the villa many years ago. Could be wrong but he seems to have a vendetta against her!
Correct and he hated Curtis and Olivia Attwood. He’s awful and so is Dan Wootton

The fans seem unhinged and Luca is just asking for trouble constantly chatting to them

So… the main tea seems to be that she wasn’t actually invited to the ceremony. Her management (InterTalent) had received a batch of invitations, some for the bash itself, some to just ‘walk the carpet’ - which happens a lot with z listers, it’s cringe as duck but hey it gets them on MailOnline for a second -

Are the Love Islanders really that desperate for an article in the Mail Online? Is it really that important to them?

Honestly? It’s their raison d'être from leaving the villa. They get short term agency deals which are based almost entirely on getting them invited to events that will get them photographed and get them on MailOnline. It’s all exposure which feeds into follower numbers, which increases rates for social media ads and brand partnerships.

It really is as hollow as that.

If that's the case, it shows how shallow the reality TV world is.

It may well have jumped the shark with Gemma, nobody has utilised it quite so blatantly for marketing / business reasons and it was very very obvious from the outset (still seems to have worked though!)

I’d predict more and more of this - people not wanting to be reality stars as such, but wanting that Molly Mae money. It will kill the format if its allowed to fester.

Yes, it'll cause the show/concept to reach saturation point and fizzle out within the next few years if that's the case especially now that Winter Love Island's returning hence more completion between the contestants for press articles and attention. I suspect the thirst for publicity amongst the Love Islanders leads to a lot of fallouts and beef between them as they all vie for the most social media attention and press coverage! 😯
