I really liked their second attempt (monument), this was definitely their 'worst' entry out of the 3 but still decent. I wasn't happy when Tix beat them initially but he really grew on me.

I love Petra, she always does a great job hosting.

Yes I liked monument but did love tix in the end yes I love her too she totally understands the assignment 😂
 
I’ve just seen someone post one these reposts on my IG saying they are boycotting Eurovision because Israel are allowed to compete when Russian weren’t:

It makes me so angry that people feel the need to pick a side. It just leads me to make one rather unsavoury assumption about people who peddle this message.☹

I’ll be watching and I pray Israel are not ostracised by the audience/performers. It should be business as usual, with UK coming in at the bottom of the leaderboard. 😂
 
their song is apparently on it's 14th (?) revision because of political lyrics, if that's the case then it's against the longstanding rules of the competition and they should be removed (belarus, georgia 2009)

if we're talking personal opinions, they shouldn't've been allowed to compete in the first place. all out genocide shouldn't be celebrated, it'll always be free palestine as far as i'm concerned.
 
@PurvyPanda i respected your opinion, disappointed to see you couldn't extend the same courtesy via. your reaction

anyway, i found this video a good watch if anyone is interested in israel's questionable participation (i'll keep genocide talk to the conflict thread unless it's relevant to esc too)

I thought that when I first heard it too. Poor Mae didn't do well live (and the sound mixing was rotten) Olly is a seasoned professional live so should do well on the night (famous last words lol).

I think it'll get a ton of radio play so you never know.
