And on a pettier note: who is the absolute dumbass who is paying $52 for a Mirror Water bottle?

She's going on about massively popular and sold out her body oil is. Has anyone used/smelled her products and can attest to them being decent in their class? I'm just not someone who would drop so much money on a scrub or body oil unless maybe they smelled out of this world.
The Smooth oil was the best thing in the kit I got like 2 years ago (the scrub the absolute worst), I was just so curious to what ex Essie Button created lol so I got it when she had her first sale, the oil had an intense forest/masculine woody scent that was borderline unwashed hobo lol, it calmed down after I opened it and I guess the oils lose their essence after a while so you get less of a scent. I went to smell it now, I have some left and it smells like cracked black pepper on my hands after sitting on my skin for a few minutes. Initially it was nice to use after a shower at night on top of my lotion on my arms as it smelled so herbal/medicinal, it felt relaxing for a short while, but not worth the price to be honest. Unless you really have money to burn it's not something that will heal your skin and fix dryness in the long run, it's more of a vanity product with a shorter appreciation period.
Gezus sorry for the essay
Thank you for sharing! I really was curious and the essay was more than welcomed. I'm not mad at the herbal/medicinal description either. I like that stuff. I probably would have broke and spent money on her stuff too in the beginning for the right price just out of curiosity. I mean she is probably the only beautyguru whose feedback on makeup etc I really listened to and inspired many purchases way back in the day to mixed outcomes. I still have oldddd Bourjois foundation laying around and somehow still convinced that it's supposed to be a miracle product just because essiebutton loved it even though it was awful for me. These days everytime she opens her mouth I go on the defense like a prey animal.
Just passing by Aēsop's Geranium Leaf Hydrating Body Treatment is a very nice oil.

Can confirm. The scrub and the body wash are great too. ☺
She was on sheerluxe show talking about valentines and that she's excited for it. It would've been filmed on Monday so I doubt it unless they broke up in the last 24 hoursDoes anyone get the sense that they already called it off?? Latest ig stories are odd, puppy love and galentines instead of celebrating first vday as a fiance?? (Also hi, hello, first time poster, long time reader)
Nice, although the smell is upppp there when you think about geranium leaves.Just passing by Aēsop's Geranium Leaf Hydrating Body Treatment is a very nice oil.
Try to locate the best scrub glove you'll EVER find: a turkish hammam exfoliating mitt thingy. Oh my. It is the absolute best when it comes to getting rid of grey skin without feeling you're skinning yourself. Absolute perfection! Bonus: makes the scrub a redundancy, so yay for me.Oh I need a new scrub, I've been using those shower gloves and it's not the same haha, thank you <3

In my very humble opinion, nothing beats E45 in anything hydrating wise. It has done absolute wonders, and this statement comes from someone who used to swear by Aesop (Rind Concentrate body balm), Kiehl's and French pharmacies' tit.

This is the one I have. I love it so much that there's one in my swimming pool bag and one in my bathroom. Cheap and extremely effective. Curious to know if it's as wonderful to you as it is to me. Like I said, no scrub is needed after that, less faff in the bath, which is my kind of skincare: quick, effective, as natural as possible, no BS.I'm taking screen shots of all the recommendations, you guys are the best!!! <3 I will look everything up today thank you!
Aww I love that this thread has turned into “alternatives to Mirror Water”! Just dropped one of these Turkish peely mitts into my cart!

I found it on Amazon but it's unavailable but I'm sure I can find it somewhere, I've learned more skincare and product advice here in 5 minutes than watching Estee for the past 8+ years.
This one seems comparable hopefully and is in stock: https://a.co/d/bgLEpm8
