I've noticed the last few games he gets around the pitch more rather than staying in the box maybe because he knows the service isn't there as normal so he's like ok I'll run around a bit too lol it would be my luck I take the captaincy off him (for Saka ) and he'll bag a hatty. He needs to start scoring again as Salah is on the same amount now an Erling needs to keep his golden boot for a 3rd season.

I noticed this, too. He’s also evolving as a player which I think he would have done regardless of where City were on the table. He mentioned last year that he’s learning under Pep to be more versatile. (And this season, he’s had no choice like you said because he’s not getting the service!)
