The show needs a shake up and Covid can't really be blamed anymore. The block storylines and less weaving them, for me, are an issues we see characters then they disappear for ages and there does not seem to be interactions between the whole village this maybe because I am watching Classic Emmerdale so it shows up more.

They didn’t confirm whether he’ll die or not but I’m glad Emmerdale are exploring this. I wouldn’t expect Paddy to kill himself but often it is the ones you least expect like with Aidan in Corrie. I will miss Paddy immensely if he leaves.

Chas can go and rot in hell. I know she’s just a soap character but she’s a nasty witch. Unfortunately the producers love her so this will likely be a way to make it Chasdale and have a few weeks of her snivelling.🙄

I think it will just be about thoughts instead of actions.
And then 3 weeks later everything will be back to normal and Chas will still be a cow

Hopefully they take a longer route with recovery. I don't think he will leave.

I think that MOST of the time they do serious topics well, Marion's stroke, Diane's cancer, Val's death, Bob's homelessness, Ashley's dementia but then they ruin it with the aftermath super quick recovery or it being forgotten.
 
I don't think he's leaving just taking time out from what I've read so sounds like attempted suicide

I know, same! I could have sworn Charity said she saved the money and was slagging off the Tates for being rich and not leaving him anything?

What I mean is the way I understood that Charity said the money was from her and she was saying the Tates should have left him something being so rich but they didn't, maybe I got the wrong end of the stick
